3 months ago and our home warranty company sent out a different company to service it. The service we received was so awful, and the work so shoddy, that I knew it would simply break again in short order. Last Wednesday it did. I insisted the home warranty company send a different AC Repair Service this time, and they sent Air Doctors. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. He told me on a Thursday it would be 3-5 days for the necessary part to come in (I took this to mean business days, of course) and it arrived in their shop on the following Tuesday and was installed on Wednesday morning, well within the predicted time frame. The company even called to see if it was OK if the technician arrived about 30 minutes BEFORE our "window" during which he was supposed to arrive. The job was made more complicated by the shoddy work performed by the previous contractor, but our technician was thorough and took no shortcuts. And because we live in Tampa, at one point he was finishing the job in the pouring rain. He even offered to mop up the water he tracked into the kitchen! Our house now has lovely, cool air and I feel like I could happily recommend this company to anyone.
