Ainsley Court is Awesome! 11/14/2010

We feel so fortunate to have chosen Ainsley Court Assisted Living as the warm and sincere ""second home"" for our mother! We visited 6 other facilities before choosing Ainsley Court. The other places were ""nice"" but we knew immediately that Ainsley was special for several reasons. First of all, the staff is fabulous. They truly care about the residents and interact like family. The privately owned facility is small and personal. The grounds are beautiful and every hallway is open to a courtyard - definitely NOT the hospital corridor effect of the larger commercial facilities where it is hard to locate your room out of hundreds of look alikes. more

Thank you Ainsley Court 10/27/2010

I don?t know what prompted the negative response recently posted with regard to Ainsley court. Our experience has been universally positive. more

Management probelm 10/9/2010

confirming d rail rating, EXCEPT non-management personnel love residents and are doing their best to provide the best care and make residents happy and well cared for. If in doubt, ask residents (out of ear shot of management) if they get good care, food quality, have plenty of activities to keep them busy and happy. Question - What do you do every day and on weekends? Staff turnover is extremely high due to lack of pay and no benefits. Medical techs are trained in-house (on the job) with NO formal training. Management is concerned with the bottom line and getting new residents. Lots of volunteers used like employees instead of hiring someone to do work. Person in charge of activities is also in management and can not do the work of two or more people by herself. Care staff used to help do activities with help from volunteers. Ainsley Courte has declined greatly in the last year or so. Micro management. Every detail is dicated by management. Management needs to learn how to hire good employees, pay them a reasonable wage, train new employees and then let them use their talents to get the job done. No one does their best with threats hanging over their shoulder.. Employees must pay for their own flu shots, TB test unless they have been an employee for one year. Employees are NOT CPR certified unless they have gotten their certification on their own elsewhere. Management personnel are also not certified nor are they certified for meds. Menus are planned by management with no oversight of dietitian. more

bad mangement 5/16/2010

i agree with vidovicha, the owner is a lawyer, so he knows the legal ways around the system. i would not feel comfortable with my loved one here because the staff is on a permanent revolving door. over the course of any month you may meet 4 new hires. i want a place where people stay long enough to know my mothers quirks and can assist her if needed. to xbilly-i don't doubt the staff for one minute, you have to love this work to do it-its the management i question. this place will never keep a great staff because they all leave to go somewhere with better pay and benefits. talk to any staff member (away from management) before making a decision. everything xrunnermike said is true also- not certified med-techs, dr. note or your fired! i thought the elderly were a high risk group? should someone come in with a fever and expose a high risk individual because they cannot afford a doctor visit and dont want to lose their job? investigate this place thoroughly if you are considering it. I honestly would not be surprised if clients started leaving because of the turnover rate. Cons: turnover rate more

a professional crook?... 5/8/2010

I strongly agree with xrunnermike....no benefits & underpay employees, his facility should be inspected and be questioned by proper authorities immdeiately...and if necessary should be shut down. ...doesn't matter if his a lawyer but taking advantage of those poor employees makes him a selfish crook by profession. Cons: unfair to employees....could be unfair to clients....??? more

Ainsley Courte 12/30/2009

My mother lived in Ainsley Courte for 2-years before passing away in 2008. While she lived there, I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the staff and with their genuine interest and care for her. The attention she received and security she felt helped provide a higher quality of life for her. Pros: Excellent Staff & Managment more

BAD management!!!! 12/6/2009

i am not a former employee and i did not apply for a job here. i have know a few of the people that work and worked there. The management underpays, offers no benefits or health insurance. if you call in sick you are required to bring a doctors note and if you don't they fire you and if you put in a two week notice they fire you. the owner is a lawyer (Dan) who knows how to take full advantage on all the back loops to ""screw"" the employees. none of there medicine tech are certified or have any prior experience. employees are forced to work for months with no days off.. yes employees can quit, but when faced with the slow economy it is hard to find new work.. many more negative things to say.. Bad work environment.... Pros: ..... Cons: bad management for employees more
