Ahrens Auto Service Center

I'm fortunate (very) to own my dream car and I took it to Don Ahrens for service like an expectant father waiting on his first born child. I've had many mechanics over my life working on the "loves of my life" but Don did all I could ask of anyone. He kept me informed nearly everyday of his progress by phone or email. He worked on my car for long periods trying to insure the car was just the way I wanted it to be. I've owned some great cars in my life and taking the car to someone NEW is VERY tough for me. But I'm happy to say Don's work was fantastic. The car, which by its nature, is very tough to work on is running the best its ever run since I've owned it and this car has been worked on by some very good mechanics both near and far. Because Don has instilled trust in me and shown he has the patience and ability the car will go back to him for any future service needed. That's the best thing I can say about any mechanic..... They're like finding a great Dr. or Dentist. Once you find more

I went down to Florida to visit some family and my car started acting up before I could get back home to Georgia and see my regular mechanic. My cousin recommended Ahren?s so I tried them out. They were so nice and friendly. They g ave me an estimate and did the work the same day. I was impressed that I even paid less than the original estimate. Thanks for sending me home safely!! more

Did not have a good experience at all, took two times the quoted time to fix. Tried to upsell us on a whole new motor- already had the car looked at another mechanic before this, so it's a good thing we knew what it actually needed. more

I bought the kind of car that Ahrens Auto services because I can take it to them instead of someone else. They're basically a Nissan service center. They do service other cars, but when I started going there, they basically only serviced Nissans. I can't remember the first time I went there, but because I got good service I decided to stick with Nissans rather than going to another brand of car. Don Ahrens from Ahrens Auto Service Center has been working and servicing my cars for many years! I have been taking my cars there since 1983. I think they are always fair and I've had great experiences going there. I think Don and his crew stay up-to-date in their training and have great follow-through with their customers. Value is a really important term here. Don Ahrens doesn't have the cheapest place in town, but he's honest and dependable, and that to me makes it worth it. I've been going to for multiple cars, at two different locations, for more than 20 years, and I have just come to be very confident about what he tells me I need. He doesn't try to sell me anything I don't need, and he uses good parts. I really like everything about the actual service I get. The one thing that's really convenient for me is that Don will drive with me to drop me off at work. He listens to the car, and talks to me about what I want him to do. Then he takes the car for the day, works on it, calls me and picks me up after work. It's hugely convenient for me, and just a good service. more

I have been going to Ahrens Auto since 1982. They have always done first-rate work and if not, they will make it right. But, it is always done right the first time. They have been great. more

I have dealt with Ahrens Auto since the late 70s. Don has built race engines for me and he has maintained my Nissan since forever. And he has broadened his horizons beyond Nissan products. I have a Chevy 350 pickup and they put new shock absorbers on it last week. He does all the service on my vehicles and I have always had a very good experience. Don is honest, he does a good job, and he offers good prices. If ever something does turn out wrong, he stands behind his product and the people who work for him. more

I have been using Ahrens Auto Service for quite some time, probably 6 years. I actually bought a car off consignment through them. They have always provided very, very good service for me. The work always turns out satisfactory. I think they are a good, small company that provides a good service. You get to know them as a good neighborhood business. I have gotten to know the owner and the people who work there. more
