Affordable Floors

They did the work in November of 2012 and I called Pam, the sales person i had worked with back in December. She said she was very sorry and would get someone right out and fix it. A month later when no one showed up I called back again. she again was very nice and apologetic, but they never came through. It is now near the end of May and after more than 6 phone calls and a lot of promises, they have still not showed up to repair their poor quality work. more

They did a good job installing my carpet, but have been trying to get them to restretch a couple places for 6 months now without any luck. I called and they said they would come by when they are in the area, months later I sent an email, months later I called and left a message, months later I called and talked to them and they set up an appointment and never showed up. more

I did some shopping around when I was looking at carpet for my house. I got two bids from firms in Portland, one of which I had used previously, and also checked out pricing at a big box store. I knew my square footage, and it is always good to get multiple quotes. I also decided to go to Sean, at Affordable Floors, and get a quote from him as well. He is local in Vancouver, and I know exactly where the store is located. He had a great price, and he has his own installers who work for him. The timing of when he could do the work was very good. Sean really worked with me and gave me options. He told me that I could move the furniture myself or they could do it. Everything was done when he said it would be. He ordered larger samples for me because I couldn't tell what I wanted with the smaller samples. He was very easy to work with. Sean is really mellow, and Affordable Floors seems to have a good reputation. There was also no pressure, and I really appreciated that. I am very happy with him. They have a lot of product. Based on the information Sean gave me about the products I went with a different carpet than I was planning to originally. The carpet I picked first is a brand new product, so it hasn't been around long enough for anyone to test the durability. I decided to go with an older product from the same manufacturer because the durability is well known. It was a very large job. It was wall to wall carpeting throughout the whole house, which is 3 bedrooms, the living room, dining room, and family room. Sean always met his deadlines. It looks fantastic; it is fabulous. I was very impressed with the skill of the installers. They did a beautiful job, and there was absolutely no waste. He measured perfectly. There was one issue where the carpet in the office got a bubble. I called Affordable Floors, and they came and took care of it. It only took 20 minutes and then everything was fine. Affordable Floors got the floors ordered and put them in; there was nothing really bad or good about it. They did vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. It looks fine. more

Affordable Floors has good product at considerably lower prices. It was so much lower that I thought something might be wrong, but they delivered on the service, the product, and the price. Affordable Floors has done two jobs for me. One was a kitchen, dining room, and bathroom with a hard-surface composite floor. The next job, which was within the last year, was when they re-carpeted the entire rest of our house. Everything looks fine. We researched both the hard surface and carpet and got apples to apples comparisons on the price and installation. We are happy with the product, and happy with the service. more
