The employees at Affordable Auto Wholesale are very nice. I had a budget and Clint, the salesman that helped me, was very helpful in helping find a car just for me. He was not pushy in tying sell me something not in my budget. He sold me a car that runs and drives great. When I bought it, it had some problems with the windshield wipers and he had their mechanic look at it and fixed it for free with no problem. My experience at Affordable Auto Wholesale was great and positive and would definitely recommend this place to others. more

I am sorry for all those who have to buy a car not being a mechanic. I buy cars from them for my family as the cars they have are often cheap, but the best deals are usually ugly. I know what to look for so am comfortable there. If you don't have someone to check out the car do what many reviews indicate and stay away. more

How has this company not been shut down? Have you looked at their BBB page or at all the Department of Justice (Attorney General) troubles they've had?! Absolutely ridicules. Unfortunately I am another one of these horror stories because I didn't do my research on the company before purchasing my vehicle. I hope to save someone else from make the same mistake I did. My car after licensing and everything cost be 6493. That vehicle lasted me 3 days before the engine blew. I know how an almost 6500 piece of of scrap sitting in my driveway. The company has absolutely no remorse and refuse to help me with any of it. I'm a single mother of three and now thanks to them I'm without a car and can not afford to purchase another one. Please PLEASE please research this company before you decide to purchase a vehicle from them. You will get screwed like everyone else. more

DON'T BUY A CAR HERE!!! wasted 2650 on a piece of S*** Intreprid there. it was posted at 2495 they said 2800 because they had to get plates and the registration and other b.s. fees. I told Corey this wasn't my price range and he ""suddenly "" found the plates and dropped it to 2650 but said since he dropped the price if it didn't pass DEQ they wouldn't fix it. my red flag but i purchased it anyway,. on the way to the bank i waited for my salesmen to pay a phone bill who later left his phone in the car and kept calling asking me to bring it back HA. he eventually came to get it unprofessional and uncomfortable and my PLATES ARE TO A TOWN AND COUNTRY CHRYSLER. CARFAX FIRST PEOPLE!!!! transmission problems , converters screwed. brakes too. the whole team is scum robbed a mother and her baby in need. FYI Any review that gives it an excellent and uses the words "" affordable auto wholesale "" sounds fake to me the review is toooo cheesy and commercial sounding , this is a REAL unsatisfied customer more

AFFORDABLE AUTO WHOLESALE is full of unconscionable crooks.Yes, they seem nice at first. It's Family owned right? They are soo kind and helpful and understanding BEFORE you sign the paperwork. They told me everything I wanted to hear, and made promises they had no intention of keeping. The salesman and the owner's daughter (Angela) both reassured me numerous times that their vehicles had been inspected by a mechanic for safety - that safety was their priority. Taya told me that ""as is"" doesn't apply to safety matters and I could count on them if anything went wrong. The vehicle I bought BROKE DOWN ON THE WAY HOME. I called the next morning and the owner John Hill yelled at me saying that it drove fine on the test drive. After freaking out on him he finally agreed to take it to his mechanic.. He refused to let me take it to mine,. THE BRAKES WENT OUT TWO WEEKS after their mechanic assured me all was repaired and the vehicle was now safe:. My daughter was in the car with me - thank God we were not hurt, but it was close;. They have blamed me and kept my money though this has all transpired in less than a month/. They have 31 Oregon Department of Justice Complaints, 30+ complaints on the Better Business Bureau website, many, many more on various sites like Citysearch, Google, Yelp, PissedoffConsumer, and on & on;. Countless trusting consumers have been screwed over by them, and been sold DANGEROUS vehicles - don't be the next!!. Clearly none of them have a conscience or integrity as they have been doing this for YEARS more

These people have the biggest smile on their face while they are lying through their teeth. They will promise you absolutely everything they'll even write it down for you, but then once you get home you realize you never received any copies and when you ask them for a copy of the work promised to you they play dumb and say they never promised any work. I also paid extra for a warranty that I'll probably never get too. I have no copies and they claim to have no copies even though the bumped the price of the car to cover the warranty. This company makes me sick. more

I'm really disappointed in this company. I got completely ripped off but they are ABSOLUTELY amazing and making you feel right about it until all the paper work is signed....I paid for a service warranty, but oh, wait. No I don't. Funny how they keep important copies and promise to mail them to you. They also tried to raise the price of the car I was in there for by $1500.... I guess I should give them praise for their ability to dupe and rip people off with an unwavering smile on their face the whole time. That is skill. I'd like to know how these people sleep at night, because it's obvious they do it all the time. I wish I would have taken the time to read the reviews before I bought a car from these scam artist. more

DO believe it when you look at the 65% that this buisness scored. 65% = a grade D dealership and that is just what you'll get here (If your lucky). I made the mistake of looking at a 1996 Dodge Stratus and wanting the car after a test drive at ""Affordable Auto Wholesale"". On Mon the 1/21/13 I was told the car would only be held for me if I made the decision to buy the car and put the first $400 down. When I came to pick up the car on Wed 1/23/13, I asked to take the car to a mechanic before I bought the rest of it. My mechanic (a trusted family friend) told me that the car was a total loss and nowhere even near safe to drive. Oh buddy he was right, because as soon as I left the mechanic to return the car to the lot... it died right there on 82nd in the middle of traffic. Thank god I was able to get it running after sitting there for 10 minutes fearing for my life. I went back to the dealership shaken and was then called a liar even after I provided paper work from my mechanic (whom he also called a liar). I demanded my $400 back and refused to leave til I had recieved it. Only after treating me horribly, raising his voice, and insulting me did he give me HALF of my payment. Leaving without the other half is the last mistake I'll ever make with ""Affordable Auto Wholesale"".\r \r P.S. I'm sure the only positive reviews on here are from the dealership staff. Since they seem to make it onto this page I'd like to let ""Affordable Auto Wholesale"" know that I'm taking this to court. more

I bought a car with an ""Idle"" problem in May 2012. I thought I was screwed when the engine started smoking. Talked to the guys at Affordable & they told me to bring it over & got me a car to drive while it was being repaired. After a few more problems with the car & $0 out of my pocket, I am now the owner of an awesome car (with no problems). Affordable was awesome & I will return without a doubt.\r more
