Affordable Animal Emergency

I just wanted to say thank you and God bless the folks at Affordable. I truly think the Lord steered me in their direction when my dog was attacked by a pit bull and I was so beside myself I could hardly think. Not only did they make my dog whole again, but they helped me through it as well. Patty is a genuine Angel who treated us like we were family and took the time to calm me down and explain what was happening step by step, she took my dozens of phone calls without making me feel as though I was a nuisance, which I am sure I was. She assured me that my baby was in most capable hands of a doctor I didn't know, something that one surely would worry about. And it was true. Dr. Vazquez did a wonderful job and he spoke to me like I was his most important patient. And Jonny, the young attendant was so caring also. God bless them all, and I thank them over and over again. more

2 years ago I adopted a dog from a rescue. She had been found in a ditch with multiple fractures in her leg. Affordable assisted the rescue with surgery, pins and 2 months of rehab for my dog; she was good as new. Last year my friend rescued a very old, very ill dog from LA County. He was on his last legs and was going to be euthanized, but LA Co. sent him to Affordable where he was treated, cleaned up and cared for. They saved his life, so my friend could take him home. Those few times are the only times I've been there, but I've always found the facility extremely clean and the staff very friendly and helpful to all the patients. I wish there were more vets with this ethic. more

Dr. did not tell me my pup had birth(newborn) defects, he stiched em up sent it home, he should of recomended euthinasia. My pup was in agony died by next morning. He charged me to stich em up, antibiotic and the cleaning of the wound. He told me that the chances were slim. When i went home I realized my pup had no tail and no rectum. Being a "Doctor" he should of went over all details with me and give ME the option of choosing to stich or put down. To me he was in it more for the money rather than the comfort of my pet. I My pet did nothing but cry all night he died a few hours later!! Plus they had a wait like about 1 hr before coming in the room. more

Very affordable and helpful. My dog is doing much better as she was an emergency patient. This was the second place I went for help. Excellent service. PROS: Much concern for their patients! CONS: more

This vet is great. They are open late in the evening and don't charge you an arm and a leg for coming in "after hours". They have always given my pets great care at a truly reasonable price. The doctors and medical assistants are great too. more
