2 years ago I adopted a dog from a rescue. She had been found in a ditch with multiple fractures in her leg. Affordable assisted the rescue with surgery, pins and 2 months of rehab for my dog; she was good as new.
Last year my friend rescued a very old, very ill dog from LA County. He was on his last legs and was going to be euthanized, but LA Co. sent him to Affordable where he was treated, cleaned up and cared for. They saved his life, so my friend could take him home.
Those few times are the only times I've been there, but I've always found the facility extremely clean and the staff very friendly and helpful to all the patients.
I wish there were more vets with this ethic.
