Dr. Waisman is the best dermatologist I have seen, and I have had skin problems since I was a teenager. She always takes time to listen to me, and her medical advice is always on target.\r \r When I had the misfortune of having a skin cancer on my face a couple of years ago, she removed it for me, and I really can't see a scar now. Her skin care products are THE BEST.\r \r I have been very happy with her care and would recommend her to others. more

I have been dealing with cystic acne for a couple of months and began to feel that I would never find a solution; neither my gynecologist or family physician offered me any treatment options. Luckily, I found excellent reviews here for Dr. Waisman, made an appointment and received my first treatment today! I feel like a million bucks- she is attentive, compassionate, friendly and thorough. Trust is one word I would use to describe \r Dr. Waisman. Because she does not believe that pills solve all of our problems, she tries to get to know you by taking the time to speak with you about what may be going on in your life at that moment or issues that may have lead up to the office visit. \r In addition, her application of Botox or another collagen filler is precise and minimally painful - I say minimally because each person's level of pain differs. Yes, I have been so very fortunate to know Dr. Waisman and her staff for they are the epitome of ""professional"". I have really bad eczema and I have been to 20 different dermatologists to try and get some relief. I live a good ways out of Houston, but I just took a chance with Dr. Waisman. She was very nice, and very sympethetic. Within 7 days my eczema was under control. A little pricey, but I believe it is well worth it. more

Dr. Waisman is an excellent dermatologist I highly recommend her to anyone experiencing skin problems esp. acne. She really listens to you and takes plenty of time with you even if shes busy. She is also very skilled, she has done 2 procedures on my face (acne surgery, and 10 steriod injections) both have turned out great. I've had so many derms that don't care and trivialize my problem but Dr. Waisman isn't like this so I actually feel like I've been helped after my appointments. She doen't take insurance though an average visit is $115 plus procedures but its well worth it in my opinion. Think of it this way: you can pay $30-50 a visit for a derm on your insurance and recieve substandard treatment or you can pay a little more and get someone who cares for you and really wants you to get better.
