Dr Speron is thoughtful and caring. He spent a lot more time with me than any of the other plastic surgeons I visited for breast cancer reconstruction, even though they were from Northwestern and University of Chicago. Dr Speron saved my life! 10/21/2011

I have been to many Advocate doctors at Lutheran 10/15/2011

Excellent bedside manner. I trust him completely. I have been to many Advocate doctors at Lutheran General Hospital. They are mostly stuck up, barely spend much time with you, and seem to care less when you talk to them. Dr Speron is always so busy yet he seems to care and listens to me. I prefer him and his superior intellect and skill set compared to any of the university centers or Lutheran. I saw 3 plastic surgeons and 1 cosmetic surgeon for a breast augmentation consult. I chose Dr Speron because he spent as much time with me as I needed and always asked me if I had any more questions. I never felt rushed. He was very thorough in explaining everything to me. After surgery, I had a small area of my scar that healed a bit wider than I like. Dr Speron revised it for me because he told me he wanted me to be happy and stated he was more of a perfectionist than I was. He will not abandon you if there are any problems.
