Paul Beran has been a great employer to work for. I am currently employed at Advertel and have been enjoying the environment and professionalism that the company is known for. I have learned more on the job than my entire college experience at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Paul has helped me grow as a graphic designer and even took the time to introduce me to HTML and web development, SEO, and audio production. Paul always tells me to see through the eyes of the client and constantly stresses good customer service. My time here with Advertel has been great and I plan on being with the company as it expands. more

Paul Beran is a crook! He's ripped off his workers, his landlords, his banks, his voice talent (some of the biggest names in the Pittsburgh area), even his lawyer dropped him for non-payment. The local magistrates all know him by first name. He'll hire you, then not pay you. When you take him to Small Claims Court you'll win but he'll appeal. It goes to Arbitration, you win again and he appeals again. Finally, a trial before the judge, you win but he doesn't pay. All the time he tries to ""settle"" for a fraction of what he owes you, DON'T ACCEPT IT! I garnished his bank accounts but half of them were over-drawn, finally he paid up rather than suffer a Sheriff's Sale. The man is a piece of crap, just look him up on the Allegheny County Courthouse website (look under Paul Beran, Advertel and Media Center LLC). Former workers, the IRS, local government agencies, the state of Pennsylvania. He's been sued more times that you can count.\r \r Paul Beran is trash. Why this guy isn't in jail is beyond me. more

Do not do business with Advertel and Paul Beran. They will lie and cheat. They have been sued by former employees, the state of PA the IRS and multiple former clients. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! more
