Adventure Smiles - simply the BEST 9/27/2011

Adventure Smiles is simply the best! My children are blessed to have Doctor Richardson as their dentist. Not only that but the whole staff are very sweet and so professional to work with. All of my 5 children go to Adventure Smiles and even my youngest, 3 year old, loves her first dentist, Dr. Richardson! more

Fillings for a 4-year-old 9/23/2011

We had such a wonderful experience. My child was so calm, and didn't even seem to know that anything uncomfortable was going on. They take such good care of her every time we are there. We are always going to refer this dentist to everyone we know! more

Everything went so well! The staff was very reassuring with my 4 year old daughter. The Doctor was also very skilled, fast, and just perfect with me, my husband, and daughter. Keep up the awesome job! more

Fillings 9/11/2011

We had a great experience with my oldest daughter. This was her first time getting fillings for cavities. (6 years old). The Dr. and staff were easy to work with, told us an exact window of time we would be there, then followed through with it. Very pleased with the service, speed, and ease of working with staff. more

Excellent Environement 8/18/2011

My four year old son would not even open his mouth for our Family Dentist. So when we received a referral to see Dr. Gary, I was a little skeptical that the experience would be any different. I could not have been more wrong. Dr. Gary and his delightful staff of professionals made my son's experience very pleasant. Everyone was attentive and kind. They took great care to treat him with kid gloves. I will be returning to Dr. Gary and highly recommend him. more

For having to pick someone at a moments notice 8/16/2011

I picked this office because my daughter had a tooth ache, and a 5yr old with a tooth ache does not make for a fun evening. The office was on the other side of town from us and even though it was right around 5pm they had an opening the very next day so we went. I have to say that Dr. Gary and his staff did everything possible to make my children feel relaxed and make a trip to the dentist fear free. My daughter had been saying for months "I'm not going to the dentist" but she and Harlan both went, got work done and neither had any pain or fear of the doctor or the procedure. Thanks Dr. Gary and staff for making the first trip to a dentist a good experience. Across town or not, we'll be coming back. more

My daughter had to have some pretty intense work done to her smile. The staff from the time you check through check out is nothing but outstanding. Relaxed, calm, clean and gentle atmosphere, not to mention friendly and patient. This team makes you feel at ease and at home, especially when you're so worried about your little one. Dr. Richardson and his dental assistant Elizabeth are absolutely amazing and great people and my daughter actually looked forward to going back and seeing them even though she had to have fillings and such. I will definitely recommend to friends and family with children. Thank you Adventure Smiles for taking such great care of my little one. more

  • Dr. Gary Richardson is a unique kind of dentist. With his kid-oriented style and fun personality, he gets children excited about their dental care, helping them develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. After earning his doctorate from Creighton School of Dentistry in Omaha in 1993, Dr. Richardson learned that he particularly enjoyed helping children develop healthy smiles. This led him to complete a pediatric residency at the University of Nebraska Medical center in 1995, earning status as a specialist in pediatric dentistry. Each year, Dr. Richardson continues to study advanced children's dentistry, especially in the areas of child behavior management and sedation dentistry. Most importantly, he takes the time to get to know each child personally, communicating with parents and children to create a lifetime of great smiles.
