Seems as if this place does not supervise the children properly. When children are injured... just saying.

I would never send my child to this location again, and I would never ever refer anyone to this location. My child was at this daycare for 4 months, during the first 3 there were very few issues, then all of a sudden a rash of 5 incident in 30 days, the worst part is that 3 times I had to request an incident report be filled out because no one had any indication as to what occurred that caused the accident. That is totally unacceptable to be paying the kind of money that I pay out for them to not be attentive to the classroom. I have numerous times walked into the location and found my son and his classmates playing alone and the supposed teachers in the corner reading a book or having conversation with the other teachers and not paying attention to these 2 year olds. Some of them being rough and tumble. I do recognize that kids will play hard and boys will get injured from time to time, but 5 incidents in 30 days tells me that there is an issue, and the issues had to be addressed as I am in the process of removing my child from this daycare and reporting these issues to DHS. Do not allow your child, or your friends and or family members to send children to this daycare, they are not on the up and up and its sad that their inability to do the one job that they are commissioned to do causes them to cause difficulty to people?s lives and injury to their children. more

Very happy with it 8/13/2010

My kid goes to Adventureland and he loves it, he thinks it's a lot of fun, I've never had a problem there, unless dealing with kids incidents is a problem, kids are going to act like kids, I think the issue right now is that parents are being informed about incidents a lot more than before, would it be better if the staff hides it from the parent to make it easier? of course not! but it seems that the more information we (as a parent) have about any incident, the more we go ballistic, at least we should be thankful we are being informed. Sometimes we decide to make judgments when we don't have all the information in our hands, a perfect place does not exists but I have witnessed how caring the staff is, sometimes we cannot even handle our own kids, can you imagine what they have to do to deal with many? In my personal opinion they are doing a wonderful job! Thank Goodness the director took over, cause there's a change in the staff, some lazy employees have quit cause they make them do their jobs and other are being fired cause of their lack of competence. I've noticed a lot of changes that have improved the place, not only the staff but the building inside looks a lot cleaner! more

Very upsetting? used the summer program lasted year, 2009, and had good results, that I could tell. My son would complain the staff were rude or would not pay attention to him at times. Decided to try the program again this year and I wish I never did. This last Friday, 7/30/10, a child much larger than my son, picked him up and slammed him head first on to the gym floor, then proceeded to jump on top of him and punch my son in the face. All while being ""supervised"" by the well trained staff... I was called at work and told I need to take my son to the ER, to get him checked out due to how hard he was hit. The owner then told me the boy who did this was suspended and I wouldn't have to worry about it happening again. The ER had to do a CT scan to ensure there was no brain injury. Monday when my son returned to the daycare, I found out when I picked him up the boy who assaulted him was still there - the explanation I got from the owner was it wasn't his third strike... My son is no longer there and I have told all my friends please do not take your loved ones there. more
