I have been seeing Advanced Spine and Sports for several weeks now and was very convinced I would need surgery at some point. All I can say is as of today I am pain free. My pain prevented me from playing basketball and severly limited my everyday activities. Putting on my shoes was nearly impossible. I am very thankful to the doctor and staff for their sincere and caring attitudes and they really went out of their way to stay in contact with my primary doctor and request test be done when she thought they were unneccessary. I am so impressed with Dr. Ingham and his bed side manner and over all knowlege. This is definately not anything like my previous experience at a chiropractic office. more

review 3/30/2011

I came 3 months ago with pain on my lower back. The first 2 weeks were fantastic because i started to feel great, was easy to notice the difference. The traction tables are fantastic. also the heat pads on my arm helpped my tired hand to rest. I do not have more pain on my back and my hand is much better. The staff is just great always smiling and asking how is everything. They have water or tea if you want. more

Best sports chiropractic 2/26/2011

I sought care here after an athletic injury. I had been to another general chiropractor and had little success. I went to this clinic as a recommendation from my athletic trainer. These doctor are sports chiropractors and really exceptional. I will continue to refer all my teammates and really anyone who needs a little extra attention that a specialist in sports injuries can help! more

If you are looking for a knowledgeable chiropractic sports clinic this is your place. I was able to get back to playing basketball pain free after hurting my back after just a few treatments. more

No surgery Yahoo 1/29/2011

I have to say this place and Dr. Ingham are life savers! I had gone to a chiropractor who treated me for a few weeks and my condition did not improve. I then went to an othro who recommended I have a surgical consult. Through tye recommendation of a friend I decided to give chiropractic another try. Thank god! This was the first place that did any xray. How dobyou recommend surgery without an xray. Now I ever had an MRI under his care and found out I had bulges in my neck causing the issue. Today I can say with conservative chiropractic manioulation I am pain free;-) more

Sports Docs hands down 10/6/2010

I had the best experience here. I had hurt my knee during training for this years 10/10/10. I was so frusterated. During one of the long Saturday runs something poped and it hurt like hell. I went to my family doc and he basically said ""running is bad for your kness, why are you running the marathon anyways!"" more

I have been to several chiropractic places and I can honestly say this place is head and shoulders above any other! Perhaps it is the sports medicine specialty that the doctors here have but I seriously have never had such comprehensive treatment. more

I had gone to a chiropractoe before and it scared the crap out of me the doctor on halsted snuck up behind me and ""cracked"" my neck and told me it was because I couldn't relax. I was done with chiropractic forever. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Ingham for some back pain and I was deliberating for months. I finally decided to go. This man is seriously amazing! He took the time to explain EVERYTHING to me! Something this other guy never did. I was not adjusted in a hurry! The did an insurance check for me before I even came into the office, at my request. If you have any doubt go here and meet with Dr. Ingham. The even give free consults. Once you meet him you will see this is the place for you! I sure did. I can't say anymore but I am pain free golfing again! Pros: Explains Everything! more

Thank you for helping me when others couldn't 10/7/2009

So I had been searching for a place that didn't line 'em up and herd them out. I had met this doctor from a workshop at my office and I was blown away at his knowlege on not only sports medicine but nutrition and just overall. I went in for an initial visit and he sat explaining my diet, my insurance, my knee injury for over an hour. I didn't think guys who cared still exsisted. I am running the marathon next week and I owe it all to this office and Dr. Ingham. My knee is pain free for my 22 mile run and I am looking forward to the run. I had tried PT and was diagnosed with IT band syndrome. I underwent PT for six weeks and almost dropped out of training. Three visits with Dr. Ingham and I could run pain free he then helped me rework my training schedule and now I am ON TRACK. Thank you! Severe herniation .....NO SURGERY! 3/6/2009

In late Feb 2008 I came to this office because of a severe herniation at L4/L5. I did some research on spinal decompression and the DRX9000 and I wanted to see if I was a candidate. I met with a surgeon at the same time and he strongly recommended a microdiscectomy. This was a really rough time in my life because of the severe pain and because I teach/train in Gracie Jiu Jitsu(a vigorous martial art that involves throws and joint locks) for a living. The amount of pain I was in and the horror stories I heard about back surgery were hard to deal with. Pros: grat character and extreme professionalism more

Best all around office 1/20/2009

I just want to take a minute to say thank you to thank you to this office. In a very busy office they are always on time...I never feel like a number and as much as I get knocked around (martial arts) that means alot. I cannot recommend this office enough especially if you are on a time crunch. With work and my training I thought I could never get taken care of... Pros: Very efficent! more

The staff at Advanced Spine & Sports Care is amazing!!! They truly care about my health. They are friendly and professional and always available when needed. Dr. Ingham and his staff seriously go the extra mile. From explaining payment options and insurance questions to making overall health suggetions. This place really cares about the health of everyone. I love coming into the office! Dr. Ingham is committed to the health of all his patients. Honestly! 10/17/2008

After having been an athlete all through highschool and college, I have seen my share of sports doctors MD'a and the like. I was so lucky to have stumbled upon Dr. Ingram and his staff. I cannot believe the knowledge and help his methods and advice have given me. Why aren't other chiro's/MD's as knowledgeable as this place? (Or maybe they are and just don't give a shi@!) Great staff and great doctor's 6/12/2008

In April of 2008, I found out how lucky I was when to have Dr. Ingham as my doctor. I had a relapse with my back; I was getting out of my car and I couldn't move; I was in severe pain; I called Dr. Ingham and I was in tears. Dr. Ingham was so nice and his bedside manner was incredible; that is when I knew he really loved his job and the patients that he treats. Also, the staff that works for him are very good people as well. I love going to see Dr. Ingham because any questions or concerns I have he answers them and when you are doing well he gets excited; because he loves to see the progress one has made. Herniated disc-nothing worked 4/18/2008

I herniated my disc in 11/2006 and went through ten months of physical therapy, bed rest, cortizone shots two in my spine- NOTHING WORKED. Two very reputable surgeons told me I should have surgery. I couldn't sit for more than a half hour without being in severe pain, walk more than a couple of blocks, much less do any kind of exercise. I waited to write this because I had given up hope that it would come back. After six months it is completely healed from the drx 9000. You have given me my life back. Please let me know if I can ever do anything for you!!!!! Thanks too to your staff they are all patient wonderful people. Pros: Wonderful experience. Cons: I cannot think of one. more

Painfree and grateful 1/7/2008

We are writing this to let everyone know how grateful we are that our daughter is in better health from your treatments. In June, she was constantly in pain! She was on pain pills and the sports doctors at a local hospital said she had degenerative disc disease and there was nothing they could do. We met Dr. Ingham in Andersonville fest in June. Dr. Ingham looked at her MRI examined her and said he could help her. She started her treatments (DRX 9000) and continued with her prescribed treatments. Today she feels like a new person and can do normal things again. She is pain free and is so grateful to all the people at Advanced Spine & Sports Care! My daughter is a member of the Lincoln Park Rowers and is one of the top rowers on the team. Thanks again! We recommend you and your treatments to anyone with back pain! Very Pleased with my choice of care! 11/29/2007

I never thought that I needed chiropractic care even though I had experienced a great deal of lower back pain and often limped to walk for years. After the treatment and rehabilitation process with Dr. Ingham and his staff at Advanced Spine and Sports Care I realized I was never more wrong. I never believed my gait could be repaired and that I would have, again, a wider range of mobility from my neck to lower back. Excellent Doctor 11/27/2007

Coming from a chiropractic family, I have been to many chiropractors in the past. I must say this clinic is the best by far. I drive by dozens of clinics to go to this location. I have never seen a doctor that gives back to the community as much as Dr. Ingham. Just last month they had a whole week of bringing in canned goods instead of payment. Unbelievable. I have been a patient now for several years and I am completely pleased with every aspect including the convienent EFT billing program. I thank you for holding on to the chiropractic philosophy and giving us not interested in ?symptom chasing? a place to receive quality care. more

Very knowledgeable 11/20/2007

I have been to many chiropractors in the past! Dr. Ingham exceeded my expectations. Being an athlete himself he understands my needs and really helped me excel in my tri training and my marathon times. He has helped me not only chiropractically but has approached my low back and knee pains systematically, when other doctors told me to ""stop running""! thanks for giving me my athletic life back bust most importantly thanks for taking the time and having the knowledge to really understand me....I would recommend him to anyone seeking a great doctor!
