I was treated in an excellent manner 8/16/2010

I had a melanage peel in Jan. The consult was very informative, I was shown pictures and felt better prepared for the procedure. The day of the peel I was treated in an excellent manner, and was given thorough explanations about how to take care of my face. We reviewed each product and how and when to apply it. Results were very good. more

Love it here!!! I have been a patient of Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Care for years! I have been seen for everything from acne to rashes to botox, laser hair removal, peels, etc. and I am always satisfied! Dr. A. and Dr. Raskin are great!! Reccommended to all my friends. This office does get busy, but I always take it as a good sign because it means people keep coming back. I myself have been a regular for several years now. I have always been happy with the information I receive prior to treatments. I have been to other offices that seem to be out for your wallet. This office is fair and has always recommended what would work best for me.\r \r \r \r You can expect a bit of a wait but in my opinion the results are well worth it. My girlfriend and I decided to consult Dr. Raskin's Clinic because of some sort of rash and blisters which developed on my girlfriend's legs after she had laser hair removal. We actually went to the clinic twice and I accompanied my girlfriend twice as well. On our first visit, upon the mention of the complaint from my girlfriend, they told her that it was normal. We visited one and a half week later but the blisters were still there. They made us wait for two hours. My girlfriend tried making conversation with a staff but that said staff clearly didn't know what was going on. For roughly two hours, we were ignored. And when we went to see the doctor, we were told the same thing: it was normal. Well, if it was normal, why are the blisters still there after more than two weeks? Cons: Slow accomodation, unapproachable and inexperienced staff more

Everyone is very friendly here and they always have the products I use. I come back on a regular basis for products and services. All procedures and products are always explained well. They also really alleviated my fears for a first time face treatment. They are always very professional and very polite. Why they call it a waiting room 7/3/2010

Judging by the demeanor of office help and nurses in Dr. Raskin’s office, he apparently has a strickly enforced no-smile rule. Perhaps this is a pre-emptive measure to keep people who are stacked up in the waiting room from feeling free to complain. Well, no wonder. On my first visit I had to wait an hour and 11 minutes before being seen, and on my second visit (to have biopsies taken) 43 minutes. If my experience is typical, Raskin wastes hundreds of hours of other people’s time each week. Someone should send him a bill. more

Best place for cosmetic surgery and dermatology 6/22/2010

I found Advanced Dermatology after seeing the office featured in New Beauty magazine. I decided to make an appointment after my mom saw the office featured on KTLA - Good Day LA. The office appeared to be well known. My first appointment was to get skin cancer removed. The doctor did a fantastic job. The cancer on was on my cheek area, and I was very worried about a scar. The doctor was able to get the scar to seem like a normal crease on my face. You can barely see it. I was very happy. I have since then had some cosmetic work done as well. I have seen all the doctors there and I am extremely happy with the results across the board. I would highly recommend Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Care to anyone in need of dermatology or that is interested in cosmetic surgery. Best Dermatologist 6/16/2010

I recently went to Advanced Dermatology after seeing Dr. Raskin featured on Good Day LA on KTLA. I also saw him featured in New Beauty Magazine. I decided to get Lipo, Laser, and Botox from Dr. Raskin. I am extremely happy with the results. All my friends and family now go to Dr. Raskin and they are just as happy as I am. Everyone in this office has always been professional and helpful. Donna was delightful and very knowledgeable about products. It has been absolutely the greatest experience with the medical staff.
