Was there just for pre-winter checkup. Bought that car in summer, running fine so far and it was first checkup at all for us. Car was checked totally and work suggested to be done soon was explained without pushing. Will do all the work one by one, according wallet situation. Nice staff and always friendly. Advanced Automotive (Jason and Cameron) were very helpful with an issue I had and tried to address myself. When it proved to be too much for my meager skills, Jason was more than happy to take over, give me a good price and complete the work pretty quickly! Used a groupon for a scheduled oil change. Everyone is very nice and seem to always be consistent with work. 4 stars this time (usually 5) because of the late start for my 8AM appointment aka the 1st appointment of the day. Would have come in 15mins later if they wanted. more

Jason was great to work with. Upfront, honest, and no hard selling. I came in to get my brake fluid and power steering fluid flushed (then came in the next day to have my fuel filter replaced). They were able to accommodate me the same day of my call. This is the first time anyone besides myself has touched the truck for maintenance (now with 120,000 miles)...I know my truck pretty well, but the appeal of lying on the ground prone doing maintenance at the house has lost its appeal as of late so that is why I went in. Jason did the required maintenance at a cost in line with other places around Ann Arbor. After the maintenance, Jason told me my lower ball joints had some play (which I knew) and he did not give me a post-apocalyptic scenario that if I did not fix them right then my truck would catch fire on the road as soon as I left the shop. I heard Jason give a list of needed repairs to another customer, no hard selling, simply, these are issues with your vehicle and here is the priority I would work on them. After working with them for the past two days I have found my go-to mechanic in Ann Arbor. Thanks. more

Polite, professional, competent, honest and fair - what more could you want? Based on my son's experience with Advanced Automotive, I brought my car in for suspension work. They found a few things wrong and gave me their recommendations on highest priority to be fixed. They even suggested that one repair be done by the dealer since that was a known defect that likely could be replaced at no cost from the dealer. The work was done on the day promised and the car feels like new. I highly recommend them. more
