Excellent experience at Acura of Lynnwood 11/19/2007

I'm not sure what's going on with the rest of the reviews, but when I went into Acura of Lynnwood, I had an excellent experience from start to finish. I am on my 2nd Acura from that dealership (TSX and TL). I have been treated VERY kindly each time, and have never been pressured. I feel like my business is valued whenever I come in. I've actually sent multiple family members and friends in to buy from the same sales person (Anthony). I think no matter where you go, you'll have good and bad experiences, but people are more likely to complain out loud than compliment. So here you go: KUDOS Acura of Lynnwood! What a pleasure! more

Acura of Lynnwood lied to me about being part of the Costco Program 1/19/2007

I trusted the sales manager when he said that Acura of Lynnwood was part of the Costco Program. Their dealership is significantly closer to our home so we went there first. When we thought we were dealing with the best "Costco" price, we purchased a 2006 TL. A day or two later, Costco called us to find out how our experience with Bellevue Acura was, and I told them what had transpired. The Costco rep said that they were NOT with the Costco program, and I found out that the cost of the 06 was nearly the same as what a 07 would have cost with the Costco pricing at Bellevue. I am totally upset about this, I do not want to see this happen to anyone else. The same sales manager, lied when I told him what Costco said, and he said, "I didn't say that!" This experience, on my 46th wedding anniversary (the day we bought the car) was definitely a sad one. If they would have tried to make it right, I would not be writing this, but they did NOTHING to rectify the situation. No one should have to go through this kind of experience. This is my fourth Honda product in 20 years. All 4 of these cars were purchased new, an 87 Prelude, 94 Accord, 2000 TL, and this 2006 TL. Seems like the company would appreciate that kind of customer. Evidently they don't. The next car I purchase will be a Toyota. I'm done with Acura of Lynnwood. Judy S more

bad service, over charged for service 1/2/2007

They over bill me for the work they do for my car. Many times they charged twice of number of hours spent on the car. At $90 an hour is a lot already. If you bring your car there check your bill. Make sure they really spent time doing what they said they were doing. Dishonest! more

got ripped off from acura of lynnwood 11/29/2006

I got ripped off from Lynnwood Acura service department. Their service counter persons get commissions from repair fees. Paul charged me over $600 for just resurface rotors and new pads. Last visit they charged me 2 hours of work when my car was only there for less than 1 hour. Plus, Charles charged me $10 disposal fee(I brought my own part to install, and nothing to disposed). They also working in teams, 1 team works Mon-Wed, 2nd team works Thurs-Sat. If your car is not done during those days your car will be stuck there until same team comes back on those days they work. Again, because of the % Paul and Charles gets. more

It was years ago... but I was there all day until they wore me down so bad I just signed the papers to get out of there. They really tag teamed me. I got way below blue book for my Acura on trade in and I think they got top dollar on the Acura I purchased. I found out a couple of years later that they also charged me a little higher finance rate through my own bank (Bank of America) and it's perfectly legal. I could have got a lower rate had I went in myself and got financing but they were so "helpful" they did it for me and took a cut. I have looked else where for cars and have purchased several since that experience. Their service dept isn't bad if you get them on a good day... more

Bad sales tactics 11/14/2005

We were in the dealership for a new TL Model. We were in the lot for a good ten minutes before someone finally approached us if we needed help or if we have any questions. I have heard from friends before that the sales persons at the dealership are not very friendly and select their customers. I have to say that we are not badly dress and we were seriously looking for a TL. But, with the service we were given, we ended up purchasing the TL at the Southcenter location. more

Bad pushy impolite sales person! 9/26/2005

We were in the market to purchase a new car and was between a Acura TL or a Lexus ES300. The sales person at Lynnwood Acura made the decision extremely easy for us. We were approached by this sales person at Acura of Lynnwood, he was pushy...kept asking us the price we want to pay for th car and worst was that he did not look me in the eye once. He was talking to my husband the entire time and giving me an impression that I do not know much. One thing he forgot was that we were in the market to purchase to car for me ... not for my husband. We left the dealership and head straight to the Lexus dealership which is only a few blocks away. more
