You Will Suffer If You Go With Active Appliance 8/15/2020

If you want someone to steal your money and not show any empathy when they do and then not help you whatsoever, then you definitely want to go with Active Appliances. One month without working appliances and all they have to say is, 'we're sorry, it happens all the time'. Then they order the wrong part and continue to say, 'it happens all the time' even though the recorded message says they get it right the first time. And their customer service has no empathy or caring whatsoever to the fact you're trying to feed your children out of a ice cooler with rapidly spoiling food. They could not care less and they very much act like it. more

Could not be worse 6/26/2019

Spent hours on phone, hung up three times after waiting 30 min. Claimed they ordered the part and per our warranty-not true. Fridge still broken. Refuse to speak to us or fix it. It’s been over a month. Fridge not working. They are rude and misrepresented what occurred more than once. more

THIEFS 6/12/2013

My home warranty company sent them to my residence to work on my LG washer. We paid a $50 deductible to Activate. The repair man advised we needed bearing for the washer, and he would order the part and we would need to clear a larger area for them to do the work. We didn't hear from them for 6 days. I called and was advised that they are not authorized to work on my washer and my home warranty should have contacted me. So lets get this straight...your not an authorized LG service center, you take my money, diagnose my washer, advise you'll order the part and be back to complete the repair, and then don't call me to advise you wont be completing the work. To top it off, you blame the home warranty company....are you kidding me! Active Appliance is straight out a bunch of lying thieves. I called them with this concern and MARIA refused to refund my money and would not give me a supervisor. Stay away from ACTIVE APPLIANCE. more

FRAUD SERVICE TECH 7/4/2010

DISHONEST- I called Kitchen Aid whom told me my icemaker was still under warranty and the manufacturer said they would dispatch this service company. The service company then called and said it wouldn’t be covered under warranty. Then they came and told us I needed to have my ice maker replaced.. when it worked and that wasn’t the reason I called. The tech told me that it needed to be replaced. So I asked him if I could have the $400 dollar part because it was broken. He said the manufacture wanted the part. I said- If it’s not covered by Kitchen Aid why do they need the part. So I firmly told him I wanted the part. He ran off with the part. I called customer service whom did a great job telling me that I authorized the work that the tech recommended. SHAME ON YOU FOR REPLACING PARTS THAT DONT NEED REPLACING.. AND THEN RUNNING AWAY WITH THE OLD PARTS!!! OF COURSE I AM GOING TO TRUST YOUR GUY WHEN HE COMES OUT.. THAT’S HIS JOB. IF HE SAID HE COULD FIX MY FRIDGE BY REPLACING THE WHOLE THING HE WOULD BE CORRECT TOO!!! JUST SIGN HERE AND PAY THE $50 DOLLARS AND $350 FOR THE PART. more

SHAME ON YOU POSTING FAKE REVIEWS!!!!! FRAUDSTERS- Check the review history. They are using several "companies' to post positive reviews to cover up their true customer service. Check the dates- How is it that all the postings come from "Certified" and all 5's?????? If they aren’t from Certified they are all good comments/reviews posted on the same dates. They should get zero stars!!! Maybe they should get one star for replacing a part that didn’t need replacing for $400 dollars though and claiming the repair wasn’t under warranty. more

Great Service!!! 3/25/2010

I had some problems with my washer, it was stopping in the middle of a cycle. I called Active Appliances, and a technician was at my house in 2 hours. I could not believe. He was very honest and told me I don't need any repairs, all I need is the balance adjustments. He placed some block under the washer and it was fixed. I was very pleased, with their honesty and service. Great Job! more
