Action Termite Control

We had termites in our home seven years ago and obtained treatment estimates from three companies. Action Termite was the most responsive with one of the better prices, and their inspection person was thorough, informative, and friendly. Action Termite concentrated on selling the quality of their company and services rather than running their competitors down. Two of the big name companies spent more time bad-mouthing their competitors than on the benefits of their services. And they used a lot of scare tactics. When informed that he lost the bid, one of their competitors even told me he hoped we got termites again. I probably can't mention their name but it's spelled like T-----X. The treatment required Action Termite to drill treatment holes at 1 foot intervals in the concrete in our garage, two patios and front entry. They moved stuff out of the way for the drilling and patched the holes with color matching material. And, of course, they trenched around the rest of the foundation and put every thing back the way they found it. They also found termite evidence inside the house in our utility room. They were able to drill a hole into the wall through an adjacent closet for the treatment - which eliminated the termites and avoided the problem of repairing and painting a visible wall. Here it is after the initial 5 year warranty period and two one year renewals, and we're still termite free. We're very pleased and recommended Action Termite to our next-door neighbor. He also was pleased. As you can tell, we have had a very nice experience with Action Termite and recommend them. more

Changed over to Action Termite Control after many years with another company. I did not like the appearance of the in-ground traps and the service techs often missed some of the traps. After 3 years with Action Termite Control I am very pleased with the change. One convenient visit per year set up by phone and the tech always arrives at the scheduled time and the appointment window is only 2 hours, not 4 hours as with many other service companies. Scott showed up the next morning after my initial call for help and completed a thorough inspection of my home. Most importantly, he listened to me as I let him know what the other provider had promised, what they got done, and where I feel they fell short. Scott explained to me what Action would do different, and physically showed me some areas of the home that were missed by the OTHER GUYS. Scott also offered me Actions rock bottom price out of the gate, and it was far better than what I had already paid for with the previous effort. The day of the treatment, Sean arrived in an Action vehicle, on time, and got straight to work. He helped me move some heavy items away from walls that needed drilling and even took time to sweep up the dust left behind from the drill. I’ve had pavers put down since the last provider drilled, and Sean was careful to keep the bricks from cracking as he got through them. To this point, Action has delivered in every way to make this experience as painless as possible. The true test though will be in the removal of my unwanted house pests. I will follow up in 90 days to report if the termite activity has come to a stop! more

They have been taking control of a termite problem for several years. From initial drilling and trenching; then application of Termodor...to maintaining with Bait Trap in-ground stations around my house, they are killing the termites before they kill my house!!! more

After hearing about Action Termite on Rosie On The House Radio program several years ago I contacted them for a free inspection and quote. They set me up for three years with unlimited "come backs" if I detected a termite problem. After they trenched and applied Termador around the perimeter of our home and garage I did have to call them back a couple of times for the "pesky" critters. Now we are on a in-ground bait trap system to detect and kill any termites that want to kill my house. I recommend them to anyone who has a termite problem or who will have a termite problem. more
