Called them out on the 10th to fix a freezer that wouldn't keep food cold was charged $160 for a ""coil cleaning"". Next day same problem so called them out again on the 11th for which we were charged $182 for another coil cleaning and a ""timer defrost"". Four days later the freezer is still broken and they won't call me back. more

Service has become deplorable. Service tech recommended we spend $8000 to replace a furnace and AC unit because we finished sq footage in our basement and they couldn't handle the sq footage. Had problems ever since with the AC unit freezing up- 6 technicians in the last 2 weeks- many rude- no call backs, nothing done. Told today by Barb nothing is wrong all ACs freeze up if you try to set them to less than 72 degrees. B.S. Tech told us it should have been a 2nd AC and furnace- they screwed up and wont fix the mistake. Next email is to each real estate office saying beware and keep your clients away from Action Appliance. more

I called for a repair on my over. They 3/7/2012

I called for a repair on my over. They told me the service charge was $30.00. The repairman took out the electronic igniter and said the part cost $160.00. I told him to go ahead and fix it. After it was done he asked me to sign his laptop computer on a blank page. He then handed me a bill for $318.00. I called the office back and ask for a breakdown on the cost. She said we charge by the job. I filled a complain wiht the BBB and they still said we gave him a quote and we are not going to refund any money. This business is not up from wiht people. They are out to charge the most they can get with out giving you an itimized bill. They are crooks. I think someone needs to start a class action suit to get some of out money back. Any class action attorneys out there? more

HORRIBLE COMPANY! I called my warranty company do to an issue with our washer. They sent this company out. A man who hardly spoke English came out, opened our washing machine door, closed it and said he would be in touch. Seriously it was all of 2 minutes he was there if that. A week went by with no contact so I call the company. They said they received an email from him stating it was ""abuse"" and closed our file. We do not slam dance with our washing machine. We do not wash crack in our stuff over sized items into it. They refuse to send someone else out or fix it. This company is a SCAM and I paid for a warranty that is worthless! I will be writing a review on the Warranty company as well! more

Charged my credit card w/o Authorization 4/4/2011

Is there a negative one star rating available???\r \r Poor service, poor communication and a large bill!\r \r We called to have a water heater fixed and the service guy came out the same day. He gave me a quote to repair the water heather but the next day I had a $529 charge on my Credit Card for a part they didnt tell me about and didn't have in stock! When I called, they said they couldn't contact me(my cell phone is strapped to me at all times) but ordered the part because they ""knew"" I would want it. \r \r In short - they tried to charge me $1050 to REPAIR a water heater that I had REPLACED for $400!\r \r I am still (April 4) fighting for a refund of the $529 part that they ordered and billed to my charge card without asking me if I wanted to go ahead with this overpriced repair!\r \r I WILL NOT be using them again!\r \r Oh - did I mention that they had already ""FIXED"" the same water heater in September? more
