Across Town Movers

I was actually not on site to oversee the project. I had a friend who was there in my place. Across Town Movers were fine but they did give me an estimate that ranged between $655 to $700 and the job turned out to be $1,000. But in their defense, the estimate was not done on site. Other than that, they were very responsive, fast, and good. Nothing broke, and based one what my friend said, they were good. When I set up the job, I spoke with Tammy and she was really nice and helpful; I appreciated that. Also, they brought all of the equipment that they needed, such as dollies and wraps. It was very convenient. I did not feel like I had to worry about them at all. Across Town Movers did a good a job. more

My husband and I called 3 different companies before we finally chose Across Town Movers. The movers were very friendly. They worked really fast, but with care. They made sure that the furnitures and appliances are wrapped and packed properly to avoid any damages. They also protect our home by placing rugs on the pathways, especially on the carpet. These guys really worked hard! more

I was thrilled with Across Town Movers. We moved out of our house in 2 different moves and used Across Town Movers for the second move. I wish we had used them the first time as well. For our first move, we used a major moving company that I was very disappointed with. Three months later, when we were doing the second move, we decided to use Across Town Movers because a neighbor who had used them recommended them to us. The team we had was extremely professional and conscientious. This was a huge move, out of a 10,000-sq.-ft. house, and we had no issues at all except for a table leg that was broken because it was raining and one of the movers slipped. I was more worried about the mover than the table, which they fixed for us. Across Town Movers also was very accommodating. They came out the day after I called to get us on schedule for the move because we only had a week's turnaround time. I was very pleased with their service. I would unequivocally use Across Town Movers again. In fact, we have to do another move in a couple of months and are already planning to use them. I even requested the same team. more

I found Across Town Movers in the phone book and called a lot of different movers in the area when I was deciding which company to use. With Across Town Movers, the price was right and they answered all of my questions quickly and efficiently. They were clear about the cost and very accommodating in allowing me to pack certain things myself. They were even helpful in making suggestions as to where I could get the packing materials for the things that I was packing. I am an interior designer and have moved a lot of people. Having done more than 300 moves and worked with many different companies, big and small, I would recommend Across Town Movers to anyone. They were on time, efficient, and very polite. I interviewed a few companies, and Across Town Movers seemed to be more attentive than the others. Their price was actually the best as well. They did everything they were supposed to, plus a little more. They were very professional and caring in the way that they moved everything.
