I took my vehile there because I got a feeling of confidence when I spoke to the owner. My car was there for over 4 months before it was worked on. The car was repaired enough to be driveable, but I found a large box of extra parts in my trunk when I got home, and had to pay another shop to replace them. They were important parts, not just minor things. The bill was for an amount equal to the value of the entire car. I was lied to over the phone about the status of my vehicle at least a dozen times. I pre-paid for parts that were never ordered for several months. I spent several hours arranging hoses and wires under my hood, putting them back where they were supposed to be (in the appropriate holders and guides). Also, I have spent over 500 dollars paying another shop to complete the work that should have been done. I have posted this review online numerous times and it keeps disappearing. He had my truck for three months, rebuilt my transmission without consent when there was nothing wrong with it (or said he did and charged me for it), replaced my starter when there was nothing wrong with it, refused to tell me what he did to my transmission until my lawyer contacted him and called the police when I calmly asked for part numbers. He charged me $1200 for three months of repairs and never even fixed my problem (which turned out to be that I needed new plugs and plug wires). Never gave calls back and is a complete con artist. I have caught him in lies about wiring replacements, he broke my key and refused to pay for it, and then let my car sit for a month without doing anything on it and told me it was ready. Then said he couldnt' test drive it because there was no gas when I had a half tank. What a crook, I filed against him for $1200. Avoid him at ALL COSTS!! I took my Audi TT to Ace's for a timing belt change and they ended up causing more than $2000 worth of damage.\r \r Installed timing belt incorrectly (one tooth off), installed camseal improperly, destroying the camshaft, broke the belly pan and splash guard under the engine compartment, failed to perform aspects of a routine maintenance, and refused to acknowledge anything was wrong despite multiple complaints and trips to the shop. \r \r The shop I took my car to in order to repair the damage caused by Ace's said it was the worst repair job they had ever seen.?
