These reviews do not suprise me. I know how this company operates. They are NOT rated with the BBB, no matter what naynay63 claims. Oh by the way naynay63 is Laura/Renae who works in the office. Suprisingly enough she write rave reviews for this company that loves to scam people and take money. It's true, they pay their employeers low pay and are rude. I have dealt with them before. Stay away from this company. more

Worst company I have ever encountered. The supervisor Laura should be employee of the month for being the top of the bunch. You have to chase them. The techs they send out make you feel like you owe them something. The first tech told me he will only get 16 dollars for the job. They fired him. After chasing them a month they sent out another tech. After he was done he pointed out the parts he supposedly replaced and told me it was out of his pocket. They got another service fee because ""this is not what i called in for"" and told me the check would take a week to clear. Don't deal with accurate plumbing. Tell your insurance to send another company more

Rudest service ever. My home warranty company American Home Shield contracted with Accurate Plumbing. On Oct 20 Saturday I called them because my water heater was leaking. I was told they would come in to take a look on Monday. After my back and forth phone calls between American Home Shield and Accurate Pluming, they finally came in on Monday. And then after numerous calls again on Tusday and Wednesday, at last they replaced the water heater on Oct 24. Wednesday. So we had lived 4 days without hot water. I am sure that without my phone calls, it would have been delayed even further. Those people didn't do any follow up, it was always my followup calls to them instead. In addition, they showed no basic manner to their customer over the phone, they were really rude and impatient and terrible. When I talked to them, I felt like I owed them or something.The woman either impatiently told me that the claim didn't belong to her but to her supervisor Laura, or she would call me back but never. They said they would send my payment receipt to me, but never either.\r \r Well after I paid $360 on Oct 24 ($300 for uncovered items, and $60 for the service call), I thought Phew, at least it's over. Guess what? It's not. Today I found from my this month's credit statement that they charged me again $360 on Dec 11. So I had to call them. Same terrible and rude service. The woman (this time a different woman. So I guess all people working for the company are rude uh?) not only didn't appologize, but claim I shouldn't jump on her for the claim. She said the accounting department would contact me after new year. From the previous experience, I wouldn't expect them to do that, I guess I will have to make phone calls again like before to get my $360 back. \r \r So stay away from this company if you could. I will also file a claim with American Home Shield with this contractor.\r \r more

Beware of Accurate Plumbing 4/23/2012

Had a leaking water heater in a rental unit of mine. They sent a service man out who got wet dry wall over his feet then tracked it all over the house and garage while testing hot water - didn't even make an attempt to clean up. Said he fixed the problem. 12 hours later the water heater started leaking again, only worse, and flooded garage. I then had black mold growing. This repair is supposedly covered by insurance but they want to bill over $400 of ""non covered"" items, but they won't fix the dry wall problem that they contributed to by the shoddy workmanship. I dumped them and went with ""Express Water Heaters"" - very professional, helpful, prompt and great prices - I highly recommend Express Water Heaters and highly advise against Accurate Plumbing. more

This won't let me put zero stars - negative would be even more appropriate. SO BAD! Totally disorganized and the worst, rudest customer service I've experienced. Even from the office manager, Laura. Truly incompetent. I'm sure the only way they stay in business is because they're used by Home Warranty companies. Save youself a headache - call someone else. more

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE 12/21/2011

If I could give NO STARS I would. The initial call was made to our homeowners warranty company as the toilet was plugged and they referred this plumber out to our home. These guys are SO RUDE! The guy arrives at our house and I begin to tell him the problem and he cuts me off with a hand waive and ""yeah yeah, I know....I told you several years ago to get a cap for your clean out""....He actually didn't tell ME to get a cap for the clean-out however the cap to the clean-out did exist, it just disappeared one day with the high winds here in SD. He proceeds to snake out the pipe ( I went into the house at this point because I wanted to tell him where to go with his rude attitude). 5 minutes later, he WALKS INTO THE HOUSE!!!!! No knocking, just opens the door, steps in and then says ""hello""...He proceeds to tell me that there are roots stuck in the pipe from the ""tree"" (its a bush) out the front window and that's why the toilet won't flush. He walks into the hall bathroom, flushes the toilet and at that point I told him ""The hall toilet works fine, you're in the wrong bathroom it's the master bathroom in the BACK of the house"" (there goes his theory on the bush roots at the FRONT of the house....nice scam attempt though). So off to the back of the house he scampers, into the master bath, flushes the toilet twice then walks out. He winded up his snake and starts writing out the ""bill""....so basically $60 for me to tolerate his rudeness and complete unprofessionalism. My next email will be to the BBB and I think i'll put a call into the CEO (not that he would care of course based on the number of dissatisfied customer ratings on here and CLEARLY NO attempt to rectify the rudeness and unprofessional behavior of his employees). In any event, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY you'll be so sorry. And if your homeowners warranty company refers them out, call your insurance company back and INSIST on someone else!! more

Two Thumbs UP!!! 11/23/2011

From start to finish Accurate Plumbing guided me through the claim process and handled our plumbing problems with great professionalism and care. It was very unfamiliar territory when we had what is referred to as a ""slab leak"" below our foundation, which also caused damage to our home. They responded right away, and diagnosed our problem very quickly. The supervisor named Kelly Wright immediately put me in the ""easy chair"" with his expertise and his willingness to go beyond his duties in assuring me that he personally would see this claim through every step of the way. I was so pleased with his efforts and just as he promised the problems were fixed, my home restored, and the only thing I had to pay was my deductible!!! Great job Accurate Plumbing!!!! I have been recommending them to all my friends and family. more

Worst Company is San Diego 4/27/2011

Like one of the other reviewers here, the jerk from Accurate came out to my home, didn't really want to do any work, ran the water in my kitchen sink when the stoppage was associated with my washing machine in the patio enclosure, didn't fix anything saying he'd need a release of liability from my HOA, took my co-pay and left. As far as I'm concerned, these guys/gals are a bunch of crooks. My home warranty company (American Home Shield - AHS) sent these dirtbags out to me. Do NOT allow them into your home - you will be out of pocket your co-pay with nothing to show for it. CROOKS!! more

TERRIBLE 2/9/2011

This was the plumber that my home warranty company sent out (Old Republic). The guy was at my house for all of 5 minutes and collected his $60. He did zero investigation of my gas leak and took over a week to submit a report to the home warranty company. In the end the plumber reported that my gas leak was a pre-existing condition... which might be believable if he actually even looked at the gas line. The home warranty claim was denied and the plumber wants to charge $2500 to run a new line for me. No way I'm having the work done by these people/ I don't know how this company is still in business... oh wait, I do...home warranty referral business. more

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!! 11/10/2010

I have never written a review about a company here, but I just had to write one about these guys. I had a slab leak at my home that I detected right away - absolutely no damage done to the home. There was no water above slab, just a hissing noise. I went through my home warranty company and they selected Accurate Plumbing to fix the problem. They came out and my fiance was home, but I was at work. I called my fiance a few hours after they arrived to find out that they had confirmed the slab leak by cutting a small hole in the drywall, turned off the water and left the home. They also left a work order indicating that they were having another company come out to ""diagnose the issue further"". I called the other company to find out that Accurate Plumbing had called in a flood remediation service telling them that there was major flood damage to two rooms and a ""possible slab leak"". I asked the flood remediation service why they were called out when the plumbing problem was not fixed yet and they didn't have a good answer. Knowing that there was no flood damage at my home, I called the flood remediation service off the job. I also called Accurate Plumbing and asked what was going on and asked why the problem wasn't fixed. I also asked why they would call out another company without my or my home warranty company's authorization - something that would have cost me thousands of dollars. They were very rude and just said ""we don't know what is going on because we can't get ahold of our plumber and ""you can go a day or so without water without a problem"". I called my home warranty company, filed a complaint and damanded that they send out another company to deal with the slab leak, while calling Accurate Plumbing off the job. The other plumbing company fixed the problem promptly and profesionally. There was no damaged drywall, no mold - no need for ""flood remediation"". Accurate Plumbing is completely unprofessional and is involved in some sort of scam service with a flood remediation company. If I didn't know what I was dealing with, I would have ended up spending thousands of dollars unnecessarily. Calling out another service that has nothing to do with the problem at hand is absolutely unacceptable and I tell this story to avoid having unsuspecting victims of this shell game. DON'T USE ACCURATE PLUMBING UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET JERKED AROUND AND SCAMMED!!!!!! more

Terrible, terrible service 10/29/2010

They did not come the first day as promised and no call. They did come the second day (early) but didn't call in advance. They did diagnose the problem but couldn't fix it the same day. They were rude on the phone and never returned my calls or gave any estimate when it would be done. They were extremely slow, I had no hot water for 6 days and lost days of work waiting for nothing. If it wasn't through a home warranty I would gone with just about anyone else. Ask for someone else if they are assigned to you. more

Rude, Unprofessional, Hung up on you! 8/24/2010

1. Change the appointment slot the evening before. This means having to reshuffle my schedule.\r \r 2. Tech was supposed to call 1/2 hour before arriving. Never did. Just show up.\r \r 3. When called to complaint, Melissa hung up on me.\r \r 4. Spoke with Supervisor/Office Manager, Laura (or Lauren) & she finally apologized but gives the relics about talking to the Tech and Mellissa.\r \r What a nightmare. They do not care about you. more

Call these guys when you need help! 3/10/2010

Accurate Plumbing came out to my home to replace a water heater that had failed, flooding my garage and two rooms in my home. They came out the same day, installed a new water heater in a temporary location and coordinated with another contractor to get all the damages repaired. They worked with my home warranty program and got the water heater replaced for no charge and worked with my homeowner's insurance to cover the other damages. These guys did great work and I would strongly recommend them to anyone who has a plumbing issue in their home. Thank you Accurate Plumbing!!!! Pros: Fast service more

Very professional 11/22/2009

The person who came over to fix our bathrooms in our house was the owner of the company and was so nice. He helped us out with a lot and actually gave us some much needed help with some other issues going on in our house. We have been dealing with a lot of people who don't seem to be trustworthy but this is the one company who I would recommend. Pros: Good Company more
