Accu-Wrench Automotive

I just moved to the Clemmons area for work in late 2011 and needed to find a mechanic that I trusted and liked as I am a total gear head. Accu-wrench was referred to me by a co-worker. I had some things that needed to be taken care of on my car ASAP since having driven it from California to NC. However, since I was new in town and new to my job, I could not afford to be late or be without my car. Matt, the owner, took the time to understand my situation and took my car in early one morning and had one of his employees take me to work as well as pick me up. Needless to say, I have found my mechanic! They did a great job on my car, the customer service was a 10 out of 10, and the shop and waiting room itself were the nicest I've ever been in. This is a great shop! We trust all our cars to these guys. Matt is awesome! They do great work and are extremely competitive and fair in their pricing. Their shop is clean and they treat you the way you want to be treated. No gimmicks, no rip-offs. Just good honest service. From my perspective, I have been taking all my family's cars to Accu-Wench from the time the busines opened. Matt, the owner, has always treated me in a respectful and courteous manner. You can be assured that if your car does not need repair he will inform you. But, if it does need of repair; it will be fixed and in a timely manner. Matt is always in communication with me when I take my car into the shop. When I had an emergency on the road, I would call him to get instructions. This was very comforting to me. I recently moved to the area and as a owner of 3 automobiles, I have been searching for a repair shop I could trust. I found Accuwrench in Clemmons (address says Winston but it's actually tucked right off of Lewisville-Clemmons Rd-maps on here very easy to follow). I have been really impressed in my first 2 visits there. Knowlegeable and friendly staff, prices that are competitive with what I am accustomed to paying and a really clean shop/waiting area. I will continue to go back, as this appears to be an individually owned shop rather than some big franchise, which I prefer due to the personal service you receive here. My husband and I would like to praise this automotive repair shop that was referred to us by a friend. We are so impressed by Accu-Wrench particularly the knowledge and honesty of the staff. Having had some difficult experiences at a local dealership, it was refreshing to find such personalized interest and someone willing to take the time to explain in detail the issues and the needed repairs. For the first time in months our car is running perfectly and we are much less stressed to have a dependable vehicle! I HAVE BEEN TO MANY AUTOMOTIVE SHOPS OVER THE YEARS AND ACCU WRENCH AUTOMOTIVE IS HANDS DOWN THE MOST QUALITY EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. IT IS THE CLEANEST, NICEST AUTOMOTIVE OPERATION YOU WILL FIND IN FORSYTH COUNTY. THE OWNER (MATT) WAS EASY TO TALK TO, ASSESSED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY, AND HAD ME BACK ON THE ROAD IN NO TIME. MY CAR IS MY OFFICE, THEREFORE IT IS THE WAY I MAKE MONEY SO ANY DOWNTIME IS MONEY LOST. My car broke down one mid afternoon and I had it towed to ACCU-WRENCH Automotive. You see I'm a single father, and a car is a necessaity in my situation. I explained to the owner that i really needed my car that evening; I need to get the kids to school in the morning and get to work. He said he understood, and that he would do his best to get the job done. I had a parent teacher confrence later that evening and had to take a cab (embarrassing). Afterwards, I had to take a cab home as well. To my surprise, as I pull into the drive way @ 730pm, I see my car being delivered by their staff. I called the Clemmons NC store to get a price on a starter for my car.\r They first asked for my first name, then my last, then my phone number, then...\r After they asked for my last name I said I just want a quote on a part. I was told they need this info to do a quote...since when do you need name, number, address, etc for a price on a starter (when they are building a database for junk mail and spam of course.)\r After several questions I said ""I just want a price on a starter"" I didn't swear and I wasn't rude. In fact, I think I even chuckled at the absurdity of it all.\r The person on the phone (I think his name was Matt) said ""I'm sorry, you might be better served by another parts store."" and then hung up.\r Hung up on a reasonable, customer with money to spend?!?!?!?!?!\r All I wanted was a price for a starter , not the opportunity to serve up all my personal information to a keyboard jockey playing at being a customer service rep.\r Just a stupid way to run a business.\r If they didn't want to sell a part without installing it (I don't know if that's the case) then they should just say 'we don't sell parts retail without installing.""
