I had a recent experience with a mole removal turning into a necessary procedure. I had consulted with a local dermatologist in Toms River a year ago and he 'brushed off' my mole as 'cosmetic' followed by a $400 bill! I inquired as to how sure he could be the mole wasn't a concern - he said it wasn't. This time, I went to Dr. Dixon who looked at it, removed it and had it biopsied to be safe - all for my co-pay. I'm glad she did - it needed further attention immediately by a pathologist, Dr. Geffer. Dr. Geffner and his nurse assistant Carolyn made me feel so comfortable with this procedure and answered all my questions with patience and caring.
