Few days back, my parents along with me relocated from Los Angeles to Minnesota and had a positive experience with Acclaimed Movers. Everything was managed very seamlessly and at affordable price. Crews were indeed professional as they did take care to cover up our furniture and box cartoons. Again, they packed up all our items including glasses, dishes and kitchen items and moved them without even a single scratch on them. They did a great job and I would not only like to thank them but also like to refer them to my friends and relatives. It nice to find have good moving service. more

Recently i moved out of my 1bedroom apartment, into my new 3bedroom house in Venice. My main worry was moving into a bigger place how i would adapt and if i had enough stuff. I didn't want my new house to look bare, so i made an extra stop to my personal storage. Once we had picked up all my extra items, the move into my new house was so smooth and stress free i was amazed. Danny and his crew took care of all my items and moved me in quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend anybody give these guys a call. Thanks a bunch! more

After being stood up by another moving company I came across the BBB and called Acclaimed Movers. I had 2 days to get out of my old home before the new owners were moving in. I spoke with John and then Aaron who assured me that he would be able to have a truck in my driveway within 48 hrs. Although I was quite leery since the last moving company never showed I went with my gut feeling and scheduled with Acclaimed movers. Tom a dispatch manager contacted me that evening (after business hours which impressed me) to let me know the driver would be there by noon the following day. The next morning the Danny showed up 45 mins. earlier then anticipated. They did a fantastic job, everything arrived in great condition, and the entire experience was very positive. Acclaimed Movers was our local United van lines agent out of Baton Rouge LA. This was our first time moving and we really did not know what to expect, we had gotten so many different prices and quotes and no two where the same. We finally decided to go with a well know company for going the savings of some of the smaller guys and we fell like we made the right choice, Acclaimed Movers completed the move with out problems and with in the price agreed upon. As the first anniversary of the passing of my good friend Liz approaches I am thinking back on all of the people who were supportive of the family and of me as executor/trustee for her daughter Grace. Of all the events in the months after Liz’s death the sale and moving out of the family's home was the most emotional for everyone. I have wanted to thank you for coordinating the packing, storing, moving and shipping of the contents of the home in Santa Monica. Your efforts were much appreciated. From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke to the sales office, I knew I was in good hands with the Acclaimed team. The packers and movers worked tirelessly with sensitivity to the situation at hand, making the experience as easy as it could have been under the circumstances with all the moving parts and drop off and move points it is truly a miracle that things went as well as they did, it goes to show what skill and professionalism your tem have. I moved from a 2nd floor apartment in North Hollywood to a house in Beverly Hills. I contacted Acclaimed movers online to get a quote. I was immediately contacted back in the manner I requested (email) with a very friendly and professional email. I exchanged a few more emails and once I was satisfied, I called to make an appointment. On the day of the move (Sunday) the movers showed up exactly on time. They were extremely courteous and professional, taking a walkthrough of the house first to plan their attack. They explained any additional costs right up front (supplies, etc) and even waived a few fees just to be nice. Three men came with one truck and they had the apartment empty within 2.5 hours. Every piece of furniture was wrapped and covered with care and the apartment was treated gingerly as they moved things out. I didn't see or hear one nicked wall or scratch of paint. Once we got to the house, the moves performed the same initial walk through. In fact, each of them did their work with a smile on their face. When all was said and done, the entire move took about 4-5 hours...exactly what was quoted, and everything was done above and beyond my satisfaction (hence this review). I would highly recommend these movers to anyone. They were a great bunch of people and their service was exemplary. more

I had never hired a moving company before and started my search on CitySearch. I was looking to book a weekend time so I began looking two weeks prior. After calling and quoting a few different services, I decided upon Acclaimed movers. I booked a 9 AM move on a SUNDAY. I was weary when one of the companies I quoted from called me back and told me "good luck". I called Aaron in the meantime and he reassured me that everything would be ok. At 9am on Sunday Bean and Gus showed up. Both were well spoken, alert, and clean. They were very responsive during the packing. I had refinished 1200 sq ft of wood floors in my new house. Not only were none of my furniture or boxes damaged, but there was not one scratch on my floors. I will highly recommend Acclaimed movers to anyone who needs to move and I will use them in my next move. Thanks a bunch! more

Without a doubt the best moving company in LA and a bunch of kind human beings. They are courteous, friendly, professional, and go above and beyond the call of duty! One of my co-workers had to move quickly after a messy break up. She found an apartment in Burbank and with such short notice struggled to find friends to help her move. Being the community-minded fellow I am I offered to help. Moving day was last Friday and everything went wrong that could go wrong. It was scorching hot, there was no parking, and worse her expensive and massive armoire that she loved didn't fit up the stairs. The movers finagled and finagled with no luck. They tried taking some of it apart, still no luck. It became clear that it wasn't going to fit up the stairs and my coworker was devastated. Danny, the guy in charge of the moving crew, told her that just wasn't going to fit and they would be wasting her money to continue trying. He offered to engineer a system with his men, to literally pull the enormous armoire through the second floor window. Sure enough the operation was a success. Thank you guys so much for doing such a great job! Ill be calling you guys again when my move is ready! more

I have been asked if I would be willing to write a review on behalf of Acclaimed Movers and Storage, this is a pleasure. I found Acclaimed Movers from the Better Business Bureau directory when I was searching for a safe and approved company to help move my daughter from one apartment to another. The difficulty for me was that my daughter knew nothing about moving companies and where to start looking, and I am doing this very remotely as I live in London England. I contacted Acclaimed Movers over the internet and with their assistance I got an estimate which seemed very satisfactory. I flew from London to Los Angeles in advance of moving day to assist my daughter dis-assemble furniture and then along came moving day. I think the can was all of 1 minute late arriving at the move-out apartment, which I think we can consider being on-time. Two men set to work immediately while I completed paperwork with the third mover, who then set to work moving. They were dealing with a move from the 6th floor of an apartment that id warned them had the worlds slowest elevator but despite that after 40minutes I took a look and was shocked to see almost everything had gone. A short time later unloading started at the target apartment and that was faster still. I had agreed to a minimum of 2hours but I had anticipated likely paying for 3hours. In fact the move was completed in 1 hour and 40minutes. I paid for the 2 hours and was ecstatic. There was no damage at all. The movers were pleasant and somewhat amusing people who were easy to work with. The move was completed a long way inside of the time I expected, it was quick and efficient. Finally, their office was exceedingly easy to work with, their acceptance of electronic signatures really helped organize a move remotely. Overall this was an excellent company to work with. If my daughter chose to move again in the foreseeable future, without a doubt would I contact acclaimed movers and I have no hesitation about recommending them to anyone else. more

I’ve lived in Manhattan, Miami, Long Island and Chicago. I have had a very poor experience with various movers over the years. I initially contacted Acclaimed movers upon the recommendation of one of my close friends. After all my terrible experience I was ready for another moving nightmare! Acclaimed movers completely proved me wrong. I noticed the professionalism from the get go, from the first phone conversation and throughout the entire move. The movers were on time, respectable of all my belongings and worked with exceptional speed! What was expected to be another excruciating and stressful move, turned out to be the best moving experience I’ve had.. We are very happy the move we just experienced with Acclaimed movers. It completely surprised our expectations. The professionalism and courtesy that your staff showed our family was excellent. You were wonderful to us throughout the selection of your company and the planning of our move. Thank you for sending boxes ahead of time so I could do the preliminary packing and wanted to do and for accommodating our need for overnight storage. Your estimate was very clear and included boxes, unlike some of the other estimates we received. To me, an estimate that did not include the price of boxes did not inspire much confidence. Jamie and John were a pleasure to have in our home and they treated our family and belongings with great respect. Jamie was thoughtful with every box he placed. He stacked our boxes neatly and near the place their contents would go while making sure we had comfortable pathways among the boxes. He even rearranged boxes and furniture for us as our new home started to fill. Gus was a very good mover as well. John explained each step of the process to us, and managed his crew beautifully. He closely supervised the work of all his crew and took responsibility for everything. He managed a difficult move of a large household from a two-floor-walk-up through hot California summer heat and an unexpected delay at our destination with good cheer. My faith is restored in decent people. After getting the run around with another local moving company that will remain unamed, I got referred to Acclaimed Movers. At first I was a little put off with them, after the last mess up. That quickly changed after talking to their onsite estimate manager Jamie. He won me over with his honesty and professional no nonsense approach, I signed up on the spot. Day of the move was fantastic, I was greeted by two guys how took care of my things, wrapped and not thrown around. They moved me with zero headaches. Great experience all around! more

my move occured on nov 4, and i've got nothing but good things to say about them. i got a visit the week before to look over my stuff and give me an estimate. out of the 3 companies this was the only one who sent someone out instead of giving me a quote on the phone. the two fellows who moved my stuff were nice and pros at what they did. they got my stuff on the moving truck and moved in the time that i was estimated. i will use acclaimed movers again. more

I recently hired Acclaimed Movers based on these positive Yelp reviews and star ratings--and I am really glad chose them. I had to move from LA to the SF bay area I thought I could just rent a truck, hire some local movers to load the truck, and some movers at the destination to unload the truck and drive north. But then I had to get my car transported, I have a dog... it started to get more complicated than across-town moves and I was running out of time. I emailed Jamie and he called, then came out for an estimate (labor day am!) and gave me an up-front fair price. Acclaimed Movers emailed a confirmation, called ahead of time, and showed up on time. I packed everything and had everything ready so the team could just focus on loading up. Instead of moving me over two days as quoted, they moved me in a single day! Everyone was very friendly, professional, and master-level movers. I just have bachelor style furniture but the guys wrapped everything like they were moving museum relics. The team was really fast, but not careless. They moved my sofa out of my apartment in a minute that took other movers thirty mininutes to move in. They were able to get a fridge into my new place as well that seemed hopeless at first. The Everything Box turned out to be a real time saver as well. Nothing damaged (even though I packed my own boxes--I'm no pro) no walls scratched, and they really came through with short notice. The guys who moved me were very dog friendly as well. Acclaimed Movers offers a fair price for a superior level of professional service that is sadly a rarity today. Thanks guys! more
