Awesome Service A+ 11/7/2013

As soon as the guy showed up I told him I had a hard stop in 90 minutes which he quickly let me know he would be long gone by then. He was right! 45 minutes flat and he installed a new opener, replaced the rollers, and greased up my tracks. He was professional, honest, and quick. I will definitely call them again for future service if I ever need it and will highly recommend to friends. more

The only negative about the experience is that the appt had to be re-scheduled once (for an understandable reason) and there seemed to be miscommunication about the arrival "window" time since the tech came early before I was even off of work yet. The tech was very nice and professional and my garage door now seems to be working just fine. more

With an online "deal" I'm never sure what to expect. What I got was a young man who arrived on time and got right to the service and inspection. I was "sure" he was going to suggest lots of high dollar repairs. I was pleasantly surprised when he said everything was in pretty good shape (no roller replacements, etc) but that the noise and rough opening was caused by a part on top of the motor that was within days of falling apart. He showed me a new part from his truck and compared it with the piece that was damaged. I'm sure he could have tried to upsale, but instead focused on the damaged part. Good to know that company and technician integrity were important. Best value coupon I have purchased! more

Someone from Academy Overhead Door came to fix my broken spring. After he worked on it, the spring was opening and closing fine but making a funny noise. It rattled a bit when the door came down. I knew their work is guaranteed, so I called them to make another appointment. It took me a long time to get someone back out to see if there was anything seriously wrong. Fortunately, it turned out he just had to apply some grease. I think they were running a special on door repairs, so that's why they couldn't get back to me right away. The experience was still very good overall. more

I am so impressed by the quick response by Academy Overhead Door, as well as the technician. James not only showed up in the early part of my 2 hour window, he was totally courteous and professional. He made recommendations, then proceeded to repair the garage door and do a complete service on the door in about 30 minutes. I will only use Academy Overhead Door in the future, and will recommend them to everyone as well. Great job! more

The Academy Overhead Door staff members who replaced a couple of springs and the entire rubber seal were very professional! I made sure to pay attention to how long it took them and was happy to have things done so quickly. The price was a little over my original expectations, but everything was alright otherwise. more

I had never used Academy Overhead Door before, but decided to call them out for a basic service call. They checked up on my garage door and did some minor tuning. I'm definitely happy with their performance because they did what had to be done and didn't make it complicated. more

I had Academy Overhead Door service my garage door. They lubricated it, checked to make sure it was working okay, and then put a key pad on the outside so that we can get in through the garage. It was good. I thought they were really straightforward and did a good job. They were reliable and helpful. more

Academy Overhead Door just adjusted and lubricated the door. It turned out fine but he couldn't adjust it exactly right which I don't understand because it was adjusted properly when it was installed. Other than that, he was very pleasant. more

Academy Overhead Door did a regular tune-up for my garage door. The guy doing the service was able and willing to recommend ways to make my door function better. He also told me what parts could be used to fix issues. He knew what he was doing. It felt like I got some extra service, but at the same price. I was very happy. more
