Quick and Easy 11/11/2013

First, I couldn't believe that I was able to call and confirm the appointment at 9pm - answered on the first ring! The service guys arrived on time and presented themselves professionally. I had never had a garage door serviced before, so I don't have much to base my opinion on. The service consisted mostly of replacing identified parts that needed replacement, which was of course an additional cost. They were at the house no more than a half hour. I spent another $100 on top of the service fee, which had I not obtained through an Amazon Local Deal, would have been a rather expensive service. Bottomline, the door opens 100% noticeably smoother and closes evenly. more

Thorough and friendly 11/11/2013

A worker from Academy Overhead Door came to replace the rollers I had. They weren't gliding properly before. He oiled and cleaned it all, too. After that part, he talked to me about getting a new garage door opener that wouldn't hesitate like my old one. He was a very friendly guy. more

Academy Overhead Door replaced the spring and did the maintenance on our garage door. The workers were pleasant, knowledgeable and on on time. They worked quickly and effectively. They knew what they were doing and gave us feedback on how to maintain the door. I would definitely recommend their services! more

We purchased a home here about a year ago. Academy Overhead Door came to do maintenance on the garage door because we didn't even know the last time it had been checked. They changed out the rollers so they now go up and down a lot more smoothly! more

Good service from Academy Overhead Door! 11/5/2013

I was at work and the wife was at home, so I'm just going off of what she has told me. We had the garage door serviced by Academy Overhead Door. They tightened the springs and lubed the rollers. My wife said the technician was nice and everything like that and that he did it pretty quick. This was our first time using their service. I found them on Google. I'd recommend them: give them a try! more

We are very happy with the work done for us by Academy Overhead Doors. When the technician came to the door he told us what the problem was right away and what the cost would be to fix it. There were no hidden or added on fees. He did what he said he would, and the work turned out great. more

I thought the work was good. They just have some issues with appointment times. 10/30/2013

I thought the job Academy Overhead Door did repairing our garage door was well done and they were accommodating to my schedule. However, both times they said the time they were going to be there and they were late. That would be my only complaint. I understand there are emergencies and expediencies that need to be taken care of, but they should inform us as to what's going on. I had to make several calls to find out what was happening both times. The work they did was fine; it's just their timeliness that needs work. more

Good service. Cleaned and quieted my old door. 10/29/2013

Academy Overhead Door came by to clean my old door and recommend that I replace the rollers. They had probably never been changed, so I agreed to that. Getting new rollers definitely made the door much more quiet! The servicemen were prompt and able to do a very good job for me. more

I had a broken spring that needed to be replaced. Making an appointment was very easy, and they gave me a small 2 hour window for arrival. The office let me know when the servicemen were on their way and when they arrived they were ready to go. They gave me a quick cost estimate and the fixed the spring on the spot. I'm very happy with the work they performed. more

The guy Academy Overhead Door sent was extremely knowledgeable. All the issues I had, he fixed, and then he had some other recommendations that I took. He was just very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. The garage door is working perfect how. I think whoever would have Academy Overhead Door come out would be satisfied with what they do, or at least if they got the service person I had. They were extremely professional, the price was very fair, and the service was great. more

The guy knew what needed to be done, and he did it, correctly and efficiently. The door has operated perfectly since his visit. Also, it apparently was Take your Son to Work Day. His son was knowledgeable and helpful, too! more
