The Academy of Arts LOGOS THEATRE is pleased to announce a fantastical opportunity for young people ages 5 through 15 - participation in a full-scale children's musical entitled ""Professor Boggs and his Incredible GOBAC Time Machine""!
Professor Boggs is an eccentric genius who has invented a time machine to take young people back in time to learn from history and the Bible. In this production, they go back to the days of Elijah and the famine ... and see fire fall from Heaven! You will not want to miss this unique and exciting opportunity just to see this happen!
Your young person will be privileged to work under Mrs. Nicole Chavers Stratton who has been directing plays, concerts, and productions for the last 15 years. Growing up, she traveled nationally with her family giving concerts in churches, schools and conference centers. She has written and directed 4 major productions of her own, while directing, singing or performing in well over 300 others. She was invited to sing and act for Disney World and Euro-Disney but turned down that opportunity to keep investing in kids' lives through her gift of directing. With her Associate's and Master's Degrees in Dramatic production, she is well qualified to currently hold the position of Artistic Director at the LOGOS THEATRE.
Auditions are on September 15, 16 or 22 at 7 pm at The Academy of Arts LOGOS THEATRE. We are unique in that anyone who comes to auditions will be involved in the production! So come join us! Cost is $200 total ($100 due at auditions) which covers your auditions, script, full costume, full stage makeup, practice CD, and participation in practices and 2 performances on a full theatre stage with a 20 feet diameter turn table! Rehearsals will run from 6:30 pm to 9 pm November 7-11 so that young people in school or home school can be involved! The two performances will take place on November 11 at 7 pm and November 12 at 2 pm.
