I, too, was referred to Absolute Plumbing Plus by my home warranty company. I suspected I might have a developing blockage in my sewer system. The tech confirmed my suspicions, drawing from recent experience in a house with an almost identical layout to mine. I did not have an accessible cleanout to act as a point of entry for the sewer cable machine, but the tech deduced from a few moments in the crawl space that the sewer main was not at a substaintial depth from grade, and could be accessed with minimal digging. The very next day, not only did the tech return, access the pipe below ground and install a 2-way cleanout, he then cabled the sewer main and pulled out a substantial blockage of roots. I had had a developing blockage, and Absolute Plumbing Plus took care of it. I now have an easy to access cleanout, from which my sewer main may be cabled if another blockage develops in the future. These guys are good. I will recommend them to friends, family and co-workers. more

Home Warranty company set up an appointment with them. They confirmed the appointment, did not show up. I called they told me they are running late, did not show up. When I called again they told my appointment was for tomorrow and when I told him (owner) no it was for today, he hung up. They use magic jack as their phone line.Very unprofessional and rude. more

Our warranty company referred Absolute when our water heater started leaking. They came out within 48 hours, diagnosed the problem (we needed a new one), then had everything set up and done within 48 hours of that. Didn't even have a full day without hot water. They were wonderful! more

We had some problems with our water heater and I know that these can be very costly. I was referred to this company from a coworker, and was very impressed with their service. They scheduled the appointment fairly quick, and did a good job. I was most impressed with the fact that these guys repaired my water heater, which saved me hundred's. I thought it would need to be replaced, but they guy ecplained to me what was wrong, and fixed the problem. They did a good job! more

I called my warranty company to repair a leaking faucet. Absolute Plumbing called me back within the hour and scheduled my appointment for the next day. They showed up on time, repaired the problem within an hour, and charged me a fair price. I thought the tech was very nice and knowledgable. I feel good about there work, and will be using them in the future. I have referred them to my brother as well. more

Home warranty company forced me to use this company. Hot water tank started having problems on a Sunday, they were contacted on the following Monday, and I was told they couldn't get to me until the following Thursday. They asked for information (make, model, serial number) of hot water tank which I gave them. When they showed up on Thursday, they brought the wrong parts and said they would return the next Tuesday. Found another plumber who completed the job the same day I contacted him. more

I had problems with my hot water heater. I called my warrenty company and was referred to Absolute plumbing plus. Contacted Dave at absolute plumbing via phone set up an appointment. Plumber arrived on time. was told dip tube just needed replaced. Took 10 minutes, saved me 400$ + all code upgrades (200 -300$)was asked if he could take a look at all my fixtures for free. Very friendly Excellent service, and showed up on time. more

Took the morning off to wait for an appt scheduled from 9-12. Called at 10:45a.m., was told I was on the appt list but they couldn't confirm a time. Called at 5 till 12. Still a no show, was supposed to get a call back, nope no call back. Later was told the tech was there at noon. NOT!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT USE. more

I was referred to this company by my homeowners insurance policy. My water heater was leaking and they dispatched a guy to come look at it. He was out that afternoon, told me that the tank needed replacement, explained that the insurance would pay for the new tank and labor, but wouldn't cover anything needed to meet new code regs. Broke down what I would need and told me it would be $385. He left and I went back to work. Got a call from the insurance company that afternoon telling me they approved the work. They dispatched a guy the following day and they were friendly and efficient. The quote they gave me was exact. I had zero problems with them. more

My home warranty had this company as our plumber that's how I met them.I live about 25 mi away.When my pipes burst last winter in the wall they fixed it -it involved an outside line,brrr.When my water heater went out they were tardy showing up.The owner himself came w/a driver please read on the owner was drunk but the old man knew his plumbing absolutely and did a perfect job.Since then the company was sold to his son that is a sober individual as well as a perfect plumber I also had him install a new tub I had a 4&3 now a 4&4. I am wanting a water softener installed and even though new installs aren't covered pd for by warrenty and they are 25 mi away they'll be my plumbers. they'll also help me pick one out as they are extremely knowledgeable about brands and availability. more

I went on line with AHS to file a work order as my water heater in the basement was leaking and water was running out the bottom all the way across the floor. I did this Monday at 10am. By the afternoon it started to get worse so I called Absolute Plumbing, 913-254-7616 and got a voicemail saying they were unavailable and leave a message or call the emergency number 913-271-8673. I left a message and called emergency number and got voicemail there also and left a message to please contact me to at least advise me if there was anything I could do. No one returned my calls. Pros: I am still waiting to find out... Cons: do not return calls, disorganized, no follow up. more

I called in to place a work order with my Home Warranty Service for service on a toilet stoppage 9am on Sunday morning, February 7th 2010. I was told the Absolute Plumbing Company would contact me by monday morning to schedule a time to service my backing up toilet. Cons: poor business practice more

I do not trust this company at all. Not only did they lie while I was standing there to the homewarranty company, they did not fix a part on the sink that the person that had come four or five days before had broken. I would not use them again! Who knows if they overcharge you like they do the home warranty company (said it took him 2 hours to fix the problem actually took less than 10 minutes).
