I would not recommend these people to fix a lawn mower. Have had 2 cars fixed one with minor damage that I thought was done right and turns out I have a leak and they won't return a call and when they did I was just dismissed and pushed away. The other SUV had major damage Anne I have spent more money and time fixing sloppy work Body work was good but things like loose bolt in engine compartment that let go, trans linkage that came off, and finally a bleeder valve for the brakes was loose. This was a major safety error on there part. Lucky I was quick and caught the e-brake before I hit the car in front of me. So sloppy and no seem.s to care. So I have no trust in these people more


Craig Barrett' man of his word 11/22/2011

My prior review that I had posted I decided to retract due to the fact Mr Barrett contacted me to resolve my issues prior to ever reading my review I now feel I was treated more then fair but the problem wasn't all Barrett's but Mega appraiser and Workmens auto insurance ( do not use mega or sign with Workmens ) Next time I also would use Barrett's for any repair after a long conversation with Mr Barrett my experience never will or ever has happened at this company more

Superior Service 5/12/2011

My SUV (Scuter) was laid victim to a hit and run on April 16, 2011 - Over $6,000 damage was done, the day I was leaving for Houston on vacation. Scuter was dropped off at the collision center the following Monday (4/18/11). I picked up Scuter on April 29, 2011 as promised. The work completed was exceptional. There were a few minor things that still needed to completed, but it didn't prevent me from picking up the vehicle. All is fixed now, all parts have been received and they took care of it immediately. I think we as consumers, need to realize that sometimes things do take a long time to complete - parts do get placed on back order (maybe they're in high demand), so to read posts that, honestly are bitches about things that are out of ours or their control really isn't fair to discredit the facility itself. I've taken Scuter there before for a bumber replacement because someone backed into me. The repairs took less than a week. I think it just depends on what kind of internal damage has been done. I personally, would recommend Barrett's to anyone in need of superior quality repairs. Their professionalism and superb customer service, I think, goes far beyond reproach. Great Job Barrett's !!! Well taken care of!! 4/23/2011

WOW!!! That was my first thought when I walked into the lobby to get the estimate done on my Dodge Ram. What a facility...they must be doing something right for a long LONG time to get THAT nice!!\r \r Sure enough, from the Receptionist to the Estimator, my initial experience was calming my irritation of getting rear ended. I was able to relax with some coffee and watch TV as they reviewed the damage, coordinated with a Rental car for me and took me in right away!\r \r I was told the repair would take approx 7 business days to complete. The second day I received an update phone call to say that the parts were in already and the body techs were working on the bedside. 2 days later I got another update call to say that the painters were in progress. The next day I got yet another update call.... Truck is ready for pick up!! Correct me if I am wrong, but that adds up to 5 days, not 7!!!!\r \r Thank you for Rocking!!!! They even did a detail inside and out!!\r \r Again... WOW!!!!!! more

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND 4/20/2011

Had my insurance company refer Barretts collision to me. They spoke very high of them and I am so glad they did. The staff made my repair process so easy and smooth. I went in for an estimate they inspected my car and determined it was not safe for me to drive. They called enterprise rental . They were there within 10 min got me set up and on my way within minutes. They got parts in within days and it was repaired by the next week when they had thought it was going to take 3 weeks. They said they have a night crew that helps get cars done a little faster. \r I would highly recommend to all my friends to take there cars here if they are ever in an accident. Made an accident in to a pleasant experience.\r more

Poor customer service 12/14/2010

After a tree branch crashed though the Sun Roof we took the truck here becasue it was recommended by the insurance company and a person that worked at our agents office. So far, it has taken 4 and 1/2 weeks to replace a sun roof, install new headliner and carpet and replace the seat cover and console cover. Started on 12-9 thought it should be done, then it changed to Friday 12/10, gues what, not done. Then they said it should be done 12/13, and guess what , not done. then today 12/14 it should be done, guess what, it is not done again. I think they put off the insurance work and work on cash customers first. Just my opinion. but I will spend a lifetime telling everyone that I run into NEVER to go there. It does not take 4 weeks to replace a factory sun roof and assorted parts. Just rediculous. more

Barrett's does excellent work! They have fixed 3 of my vehicles and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!! The customer service was excellent and the repair quality is second to none! Highly recommend!! more

Little Irritated! 5/27/2010

Car was in the shop for 2 months, a t-bone situation so yes I was aware it would be awhile but 2 months seemed a little much!.. I was told the estimated time frame would be 3-4 wks and 8 wks later I drive away with my car to find out that it needs to go back because the lack of detail or poor repair job:(... 4 months later and I am still waiting to get my car back in there, but the part is either damaged when it arrives or on back order!!! I do have to say from time to time the front desk personal are friendly and never had an issue with the customer service aspect, now only if they can get the repairs done correctly I will be one HAPPY camper!!!\r Pros: Customer Service Cons: Repairs take forever and not done correctly! more

Not Impressed 3/25/2010

So far I am not impressed. They have had the car for over a month and still have it. Not sure at this point when we will get it back. Pros: Courteous Cons: Very Slow Repairs more
