I had such an awesome experience while looking for someone reliable and honest I found them not only did they fix my tv for a fair price after getting it home i could not get the sound to work by then it was 6 the time they closed i called and they kept the store open until 730 and fixed my tv. these guys ROCK!!! more

We had an unusual Samsung flat screen tube TV that just quit working. It was only a few years old so we hated to toss it. Ableman's evaluated it (for a great price) and gave us the estimate which they stuck to.\r We were very impressed with their honesty, courtesy and price. Our TV works great now. more

I don't know who wrote that last review, but it has to be fake because it makes no sense, and this place is outstanding. I was doing a TV repair myself and needed assistance finding the right parts. Although it is never in the best interest of a company to help you fix it yourself, the guy at the counter helped me out anyway and did a terrific job. He was very friendly and was the most knowledgeable person in a repair facility I have ever come across. I was in there for almost an hour looking around, and of all the people he helped there was not one question he couldn't answer. Not only was the service great, but the prices are great too! They have many HDTV's for a great price. What more could you ask for? If I ever need a repair on my TV, this is the place I will use. more

When the TV would stay on there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and it had a beautiful, bright, clear picture. I expected to be told it could be fixed easily. What I was told was that while it could be fixed the owner simply didn't want to work on it. He said I should just throw it away and buy a newer LCD style TV. When I told him I didn't like the newer style TVs and wanted to stay with the TV I had he said that while he COULD fix it he wouldn't repair my TV. When I told him I'd pay whatever it cost he got very rude and said I should go find someone else to work on my TV. \r \r I have since had my TV repaired by another shop who treated me with courtesy and respect and only charged my $100.00 for the repair. My guess is this shop simply doesn't have the expertise to repair my TV. That doesn't explain the rude treatment however. This shop certainly doesn't have a customer-friendly approach to doing business and I wouldn't recommend anyone use them. more

Lets just say we should have went to Ableman TV the first time.\r \r I took our TV in and they showed me how easy it was to fix the exact same problem that we had before for a 1/3 of the cost. They could have charged me so much more than they did but they didn't. \r \r If you have an issue with your TV take it to Ableman and get it fixed without paying way to much for the repair. \r \r They have earned our business for sure. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! more

My LCD TV had bitten the dust in the TV mode. It is an off brand, so I didn`t really expect too many shops would be willing to service it. I went into Ableman`s and the owner (Tom) was there. He looked at the outside of the set, said the manufacturers name, asked what was wrong. I told him and said to change the way I set up the Dish input. He then hooked the TV to a VCR, turned both on and showed me what HD is supposed to look like. He could have just said,okay, we can fix the input and charged me whatever he wanted. But, he did`nt. What he did do is gain a customer for life and my recommendation to antyone needing TV repair. Wow, a truely honest shop owner. I love it!!!! more

We brought our tv to them, they carried it in for us, fixed it while we waited,(less than a half hour), and carried it out to our car for us. They were very friendly, and they were very professional. I'm so glad I found this place, and I'll go back as well as recommend them to anyone needing television repair. more

It would have cost me almost $100 from the place I used to use for repairs just to have them come out and look at it. Ableman answered the phone outside of business hours at 8 PM to help me. We have three older big screen TV's that various family members have given us, along with a surround system that has not been set up. Ableman's phone number is now plugged into my cell phone! Thanks - you really did earn some future business and referrals from me for your assistance tonight. Pros: They fixed my problem over the phone. more

Today I took my 10+ year-old TV to the guys at Ableman. In short, they're awesome. They diagnosed the problem on the spot and even invited me to watch the work being done. So I got a cool education along with a repaired TV. It was a bit of a tricky repair, but Ed solved the mysterious source of the problem in just a few minutes. He saved the day. The owner, Rex, was up-front, very knowledgeable and easy to to business with. There's no doubt that these guys really know their stuff and care about the quality of their work. I was happy with the fair and reasonable price, as well as how quick everything was done. I was also impressed that they didn't stop at the easy part of the repair, but continued to investigate what caused the problem in the first place so I could walk away with a TV that wouldn't just end up in the shop in a few more weeks.
