This is the type of company you didn't think existed anymore. A few years ago they were recommended to me for AC issues. They came out, charged and cleaned the unit- very reasonably priced and DID NOT make me feel like an idiot. They even let me know that the higher priced filters I was buying were not necessary and that I would be just fine with the regular filters. Then, I was having furnace problems. I got a few estimates from people as I kept hearing I needed an entire new system (which I probably do but can not afford now) and the prices ranged from 6-10K. Then John came out. Both the AC and Furnace were fixed for $600 TOTAL. They are in the business of repair...and they do a fabulous job. One of the initial calls with the furnace required him being at the house at almost 10pm in the cold snowy weather.
Then that brings me to yesterday...My neighbors have been married for 70 years and the husband passed away yesterday morning. He was in his 90s. With family coming in and out we really didn't notice that the AC wasn't working properly. In the afternoon, my neighbors granddaughter told me about it. They were trying to find someone to come out and I told them I had it handled and someone would come out soon. They looked at me like I was crazy. I called John and explained the situation. Within 30 minutes, he was finished with his call and came over. The unit was frozen...No other answer other than to turn it off and let it thaw. Ugh...It is 90+ degrees outside. FIRST thing this morning, and I mean FIRST THING, just like he said, John was there checking and charging the unit. He would NOT give us a bill. He then went inside and sat and talked with my neighbor who lost her husband of 70 years just yesterday. This wasn't about the money, but doing the right thing and helping someone out in one of the worst moments of her life. I cannot ever repay him for the kindness he has shown her and all of us. This is the type of company that you want to do business with.
