Saved my beer! 10/2/2011

My name is Newt and I called this company because I had an emergency. When the woman answered I told her my refrigerator wasn't working and although I didn't have much food in it, I had friends coming over and we needed it for our beer. She did laugh a tad at what I called an emergency, but sent Rick out and he repaired the box for me and I later asked if he would like a beer, but he declined and said he had another call to go to. Good job, they saved my beer! more

a good service company 9/25/2011

Since my darn dryer stopped turning I needed to call a company out and decided on Able Appliance. They gave me a 9-12 slot and without thinking about it I was downstairs in the basement and missed the technicians call as well as the office girl. Once I realized it and called them back and I of course knew it was my fault. So we made arrangements for the next day at the same time, and this time I did answer and the service man Jaramie was fantastic to deal with, I'm happy too! more

Husband, out of the dog-house 9/4/2011

My husband tried to repair our CA and made a mess of things. I was so upset with a baby and no air in the house and called Able and they only charge $39.95 to tell us what was wrong. They found a loose wire and fixed it. Thanks to Able my husband Bob, is out of the dog-house. more

It wasn't a good feeling when I was ready to cook for the entire family, and the stove wouldn't come on. My father-n-law took out his cell and said no problem. I heard him talking to someone from the company and then John, the technician showed up and put in an ignitor and then smiled and said, it's all done. He handed me a yellow sticker and said call anytime. he shook hands with my father-n-law and out the door he went. Thanks to my father-n-law Ted, and to this company, it was a good experience. Dinner was great and we still had time to relax with family. more

Really,really appreciate this company!!!!!!!!!! 7/24/2011

As a working mom with only one parent in the houehold, every dime counts. I had just went and bought groceries and thought I would lose everything when I realized my refrigerator was not cooling. Calling able appliance and I'm sure I started to cry when the dispatcher started asking questions. She did manage to get someone over rather fast and as he worked on it I took some items over to my neighbors. What could have been a really bad day turned out rather ok. Really, really appreciate this company. more

Great price 5/22/2011

Called Able on Sunday morning when I found my fridge/freezer not working and reading these reviews. Repairman came out a couple hours after my call. Did a little inspection - recommended a new fridge as it would be too expensive to repair. Only $9.95 for the visit - well worth it for an honest answer. Went and ordered a new fridge. more

My kenmore washer stopped filling and my friend Jane gave me Able's number and with an $9.95 service call you couldn't go wrong. The tech came out the same day and had it repaired within minutes and was on his way. Super company and the tech John was great! more

A great service company! 3/14/2011

I called Able to come and check out my stove that wasn't working and while they were there for an additional $9.95 I had them check my washer that was leaving grease stains on the floor. I ended up fixing the stove but decided on buying an new washer. what a great service company that will check your appliances for $9.95 each that's a great service to us. Thanks, Able more
