We recently used Abel Carpet Wood and Tile to replace our carpets as well as change our office to laminate floors. After visiting several larger carpet stores as well as checking the home improvement stores, our research led us to believe we needed to go with a locally owned company who had a vested interest in their reputation. All the reviews we read pointed us to Abel. We contacted Mike at Abel, and he came to our home and showed us high quality samples of both carpet and wood. His estimates were much better than any other received. We were also reassured that the installers were people Mike used regularly, and were used for the quality of their work. Mike from Abel Carpet Tile And Wood couldn't have been any nice. He was so cordial and willing to answer any question I had. He was also constantly in contact, before and after installation. This guy is really on the ball. I'm not that familiar with carpeting but Mike said "Don't worry about it, I will answer anything you want and get you whatever carpet you want," and he did, no matter how stupid I thought my question sounded. He assured me that there was no rush and that I should take my time and I must have had him show me a billion samples. He was very polite and cordial. Between Mike and the crew he sent out, things could not have been more professional or more nice. They handled everything like it was china, were very extremely careful with everything. They were so great to work with. Mike came to my house in the evening to bring us samples and do measurements, which was great because we had very busy schedules. Schedule-wise, we had conflicts on our side, and they really worked with us on our issues with redecorating and remodeling our house. We eventually had them install carpet, and it came out wonderfully. more

After we chose our carpets, their installers came out on time and did the job in a timely manner. We have used Abel twice now and we were extremely pleased with the results both times. The carpet was installed under tight time constraints. The prices were very reasonable. The quality of the install was excellent. We recently used them again for tile, and the result was stunning. The grout lines were straight, and the cut ins for the trim and wall bends were simply amazing. Mike from Abel Carpet Tile And Wood was just wonderful! He was here everyday watching and making sure that everything turned out okay. He really worked with me to coordinate the carpet to the hardwood floors to the back splash. The crew was great too. They took their time finishing and it was worth it, it looks superb. I found Abel Carpet Tile and Wood on craigslist and gave them a call to have some carpet put in. After talking with Mike, I decided to go with them. I wasn't around when they put the carpet in, but it looks good. I haven't had the carpet long enough to say much else about it. more

Abel Carpet Tile and Wood is really fast, efficient, and competitively priced. They have very high quality customer service. They call back right away and are always on time. They completed the job when they said they would, which is really hard to find. They laid carpet in the whole house, which was a lot of carpet. It ended up being about 25 hundred square feet of carpet laid down. They also took up some laminate flooring from one room and moved it to another room. It was our first time using them, and they are really professional. They got the job done when they said they were going to be done, and not many people do that. The house looks great, we love it, and everyone who comes to the house loves the carpet. more

We researched a lot of different floors and wood, checked backgrounds, did customer service checks, and couldn't be happier with Abel Carpet, Tile, and Wood. Going from the travertine floors to the wood in the bedrooms, your feet actually feel good. It almost feels soft; it is such a nice product. Mike was so casual about how he did things. He didn't ever push us, or try to change our minds about what we wanted. He was fantastic. We were the ones who actually kept putting off the date of installation. We remodeled our entire house, so we had to do things in a certain order. Mike would call to checkup and see the progress of the house, or we could email him if there were any scheduling changes. He was more than willing to work with us around everything. We did all 3 bedrooms and closets with Abel Carpet. They put in hardwood in the master bedroom and walk in closet, the mid-sized bedroom, the smaller bedroom, and those two closets as well. If there are any potential customers, they are free to call us and see how happy we are with everything. If you are not sure about quality of product, or the quality of installation, call us. The installation is fantastic. There are 3 different sizes of wood, and the pattern Mike put in the floor is really nice. more
