Larry arrived on time as promised, diagnosed my issue (once he had tried several other fixes that didn't pan out) and told me what was needed to fix my cook top. Her returned with the appropriate parts two days later, got it installed, cleaned up and was gone within 45 minutes. Cook top burner now working like it did when it was new. The service was very good, he came to my daughters house to fix the ice maker on the refrigerator. Well it turned out that it couldn't be fixed so he just had to replace it. Abel Appliance Repair came out to evaluate a refrigerator repair he diagnosed that the refrigerator light went out and to fix it was around $300 dollars; we didn't think it was worth that amount to fix it. However, the technician that came out was on time and professional. Abel Appliance Repair did exactly what they said they were going to do. more

The guys over at Abel Appliance Repair are very professional and pretty great. Our ice dispenser was acting up and it was causing us all sorts of trouble. We called over to Abel Appliance Repair and they responded really quickly which we really appreciated because the ice dispenser on our fridge was making quite the mess. The guy came in and realized that the dispenser was completely destroyed, and so he informed us that he needed to grab a new one, and was back within the hour. He replaced the dispenser and it now is working perfectly. No more mess which is great! more

Great service fair price more

The compressor on my 5-year-old LG refrigerator originally went out in August 2015. I called an appliance repair company listed on Angie's List. Their technician installed a hard start relay which started the compressor. All was fine until Jan 2, 2016 when the compressor went out again. After calling the repair company who installed the hard start relay, I was told via phone that it wouldn't be worth repairing given the cost to replace the compressor. The cost for a new refrigerator was about $1300. I mentioned the problem to a co-worker who recommended I call Abel Appliance. Larry came out and installed a new compressor for less than the other company had quoted. However, the compressor would not turn on so he checked the relay board and found that it had burned out which was caused by the 1/2 HP hard start relay that the other company had installed. He explained and showed me that 1/2 HP was too much for a residential refrigerator. He ordered a new relay board and came back a few days later to install it. The fridge is now cooling. Larry's many years of experience and knowledge have made me a customer for life. He was professional, came back when he said he would, and his pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Abel Appliance Repair to anyone. more
