When my 2-year old Whirlpool, bottom-freezer and refrigerator quit cooling effectively, I was a bit panicked. We lost over $400 in food before we were able to start making calls for repair. When Whirlpool customer service was a total bust, I began calling every repair company I could find that serviced our area. Many were helpful, but almost all of them had a 14-21 day waiting list for service. Not only did a tech come out same-day from Abel, but they came out late in the evening on a Friday to diagnose the problem. They gave me a ballpark quote and agreed to come out the next day with the parts to fix the problem. They spent over 4 hours at our home on a Saturday (son first, then the father joined him) and went above and beyond to fix our fridge. Even though they put in more time and effort than expected, and even though they had to do additional work beyond the originally-quote repair, they never even considered charging more than the initial quote. Our fridge is now back to running like it should, and these guys were amazing! If (god forbid) I ever need appliance repair services again, Abel will be the first company I call, and the first one I recommend to friends within their coverage area. These guys really knocked it out of the park and I felt 100% like a valued customer throughout the experience. These guys are definitely worth a call!
