We called Roy because our main drain was clogged. He came the next morning and was able to get it unclogged in under an hour. Unfortunately, when he came in with the bill I was shocked! I was in the home remodeling business for a couple years and highly value paying well for specialized services, but $440 for a simple snaking job seemed to be very excessive. Unfortunately, I will not be a repeat customer, which is too bad because I appreciated his service. more

Great response and service I had a leak which was running down my kitchen wall from the upstairs bathroom that I discovered in the morning just before leaving for work. I quickly searched the web looking for plumbers in Fairfax and found AABCO with telephone 703-627-6260. Mr. Roy Gaskins answered my call and volunteered to come out the same day or whenever worked best for me. We set up an appointment for the next morning. That evening after work I did some diagnosis of the problem on my own and attributed it to bad caulk around the shower in our master bath. Mr. Gaskins arrived as scheduled, and I shared this information with him. He immediately verified my supposition but also checked both upstairs bathrooms to confirm that the shower was the only source of the problem. He also found a minor issue with one of the toilets, fixed it and made sure I knew how to do it myself in the future. He then re-caulked the shower stall and did the same to the tub in the basement bathroom at my request as I knew the caulk there was in poor shape too. Mr. Gaskins accomplished all the above including loading up his equipment and writing up the bill in 1.5 hours. Before leaving, he asked me to check again after the caulk had set for any problems and said he would be back right away if there was still a problem. Mr. Gaskins was very courteous, helpful and did exactly what was needed quickly and efficiently. He cleaned everything as he worked. I was very pleased with his service and would recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber. more

Discovered late Monday evening we had a messy water back-up in our basement which had overflowed into our finished basement. Contacted Roy (proprietor) of AABCO and he made his way to our home late Monday evening and spent a few hours attempting to clear the blockage which was unsuccessful (after attempting numerous tricks of the trade, given Roy's experience) . The next day he reached out to a related business because the next stage was the excavate the line in the back of the house (given that he could do this seamlessly was a huge value-add as many other plumbers would have gone as far as they could have and we would have been left to our own devices to find the issue in the line). Roy and his team worked tirelessly over the next few days, took care of any issues which resulted and resolved the plumbing/blockage issue and we are now in the process of getting our basement back in order. I would recommend AABCO/Roy and the related ABC as the team was very friendly, professional and diligent in getting the job done. more

Prompt response, timely arrival, honest, courteous, and very reasonably priced. Roy diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and also demonstrated what was causing the leak so I could see what happened. I will recommend AABCO to others and call them next time I have a plumbing issue. I called AABCO to fix a water pipe with pin holes that was causing a large leak in my basement ceiling. My toilet was clogging with every use of the bathroom. It got so bad that it started running over onto the floor. I plunged and plunged, but the problem would minimize but build up again running over on the floor. I finally called AABCO and described the problem. They came out in a timely manner and fixed the issue in no time. They even cleaned up afterwards. AABCO uses efficient and effective tools vs primitive tools that most plumbers use and it takes forever and make such a mess. I don't know what it was called, but it was different than anything I had ever seen and it didn't take long either.
