A-Z Dental: Shekhtmeyster R DDS

Dr. Shekhtmeyster is one of the best, if not THE best, dentist in Brooklyn area. She is so professional.\r \r I have had a recent experience with a very bad dentist in this same area who took out a perfectly good crown and bridge. Dr. Shekhtmeyster did the 2nd opinion, unfortunately, too late to prevent harm from the 1st dentist. I wish I had gone to Dr. Shekhtmeyster in the first place. (I felt I had lost her in a divorce. Just kicking myself.) \r \r She not only performed the examination, she drew me a picture of what a good C&B is supposed to look like and then drew a picture of what the dentist had done to me. She also had the professional fortitude to call the irresponsible dentist right then and there and make sure that she would put in a new crown and bridge immediately. And do it right.\r \r Dr. Shekhtmeyster would never, ever, ever have done what that dentist did. I'm just kicking myself that I went to someone new.\r \r I have family members who have gone to Dr. Shekhtmeyster over a near 15 yr span. They, also, all give her a TEN. '10!' \r more

Dr. Shekhtmeyster cleaned my teeth. She was very detail in explaining what she was going to do before she did it and she put me at ease. She could tell I was nervous. I do not like going to the dentist, never have but she talked me thru the whole process which I am very thankful for. I would not hesitate to go back. more

I see Dr. Shekhtmeyster & she is the best! She's friendly & knowledgeable. I have had a few troubles with my teeth but so far they haven't found anything wrong which is frustrating but I'm happy that they are doing their best to figure this out.\r I recommend more

The staff from the receptionist, to the dental assistant, dentist, and financial services were extremely friendly and accommodating. \r \r My 6 year old daughter needed two teeth extracted due to overcrowding. After an initial exam with the dentist and dental assistant, I spoke with someone to receive a financial estimate (we have no dental insurance).They were able to get my daughter in right away...within 10-15 minutes of the initial consultation AND she was finished in another 15 minutes! more

I am a smiling beauty thanks to the lumineers and crowns that Dr. Shekhtmeyster installed for me. I've heard that she is a wiz at cosmetic dentistry, and boy, where they right!\r \r The office has two locations and it's easy to see any of the three other doctors (who are very professional and gentle!) on a short notice. So getting my hubby and kids in is a breeze!\r \r This place is really a dream come true for a busy woking mom! more

Dr. Shekhtmeyster put 6 porcelain veneers over my top teeth and I could not be happier! What's great about her is she as gentle as can be and she makes it a relaxed environment. She takes great pains with the details, as well as consulting the patient so as to get an idea of exactly what the patient's expectations are. When it was all over, I couldnt believe my eyes, or rather my teeth. Beautiful, I can now proudly smile a terrific smile. I am so happy I did this, and would recommend a consultation with Dr. Shekhtmeyster to anyone in the NYC area. She is also my general dentist and I recommend her for those services as well, Once again, could not be happier!!! more
