I have had my Trailblazer worked on by another company and after they installed 2 INCORRECT sensors for my type of vehicle and other major mistakes...I took my vehicle to Larry at AWS Automotive on the Avenue in Ventura. I have never been anywhere else since! I find Larry and his team to be very honest and trustworthy! They gave me back the 2 incorrect parts and told me to go get my money back! They will not try to sell you service or parts that you don't need! In addition, they keep a very nice record of your service and follow up needs and will remind you via email of your up coming appointment! Larry and his team at AWS Automotive are fantastic. I was so impressed with the quality of the repairs but more importantly how honest AWS is when it comes to the repair work that they recommend. I never felt pressured to have any repairs done if I wasn't ready to do them. I happened to be driving by AWS automotive last month and noticed how packed it was which is a good sign. I never even heard of this place so I went online, did some research and WOW. There were so many positive reviews. I was due for an oil change anyway so I figured I'd see if they lived up to the hype and of course they did. They really seemed happy to be there, everyone looked like they loved their job and that alone, gave me a little peace of mind in that I'm going to be getting great service. The owner speaks to you like he's been your friend for years. I've been taking my Hyundai Accent to the dealership all these years and spending way too much, but not anymore. AWS from now on. more

I took in my 1996 Chrysler cirrus to AWS after a friend recommended this place. I live on the opposite side of town but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. I've been to several shops around town but never like this one. It's family owned so that's already a big plus for me. The owner was awesome, one of the nicest guys I've ever met. The prices are more than fair and I will have no problem driving all the way across town in the future just to have my car worked on. Well worth it. more

I have a 2004 Jeep Cherokee, and I've taken it to Larry and his guys for an oil change and service to my trans. They were very helpful and kind. Larry worked with me and let me know everything that was going on in my car. I'm very careful when it comes to my car and who I have work on it. It's not easy to find a good, honest mechanic, but luckily I found that here. Overall, they were very nice, very thorough, and great prices! more

I took my toyota avalon to AWS for a quote on brakes and rotors after I had taken it to the dealer. Not only did AWS save me hundreds of dollars they saved me time by getting it done when they said and shuttled me back to work. No time was lost and money was saved. In this economy, it is nice to finally find a shop I can trust. thanks AWS more
