Made a reservation by phone, guy was extremely helpful and patient. They emailed me a written estimate. 2 calls to reconfirm date, time, and location (were flexible with morning, mid-day, or afternoon times with advance notice). Movers showed up right on time, hustled, and completed the whole thing as estimated. The name says it all. Highly recommended, no fuss, no hassle, no hidden fees. If you plan on moving anytime soon, save yourself and book these guys. Mike was very courteous and detailed in taking my request and providing an initial estimate. On moving day, the movers showed up a little early (not a bad thing), were careful, friendly, and timely. The final cost was actually a little under the original estimate. Everything was wrapped and in the end nothing was scratched or broken. They actually made moving less stressful. If I have to move again, I will call them first. Pros: Service is great. Extremely Careful Crew 12/1/2008

We highly recommend A-Plus Moving & Storage, who recently moved us from Jamaica Plain to Newton. Mike, the relocation consultant, came out prior to the move to provide an estimate. A two man team including CJ did the job of four movers, navigating our three flights of stairs with no problems. We had several pieces of nice furniture, which they wrapped and padded for extra protection. Everything made it unscathed. The guys were extremely friendly, careful and cooperative. Delight to work with 11/25/2008

I required A-Plus Moving services last week. I just want to deliver a quick review for these fine guys. They were extremely quick and a delight to work with. Nothing was damaged in the move and I showed my gratitude with a nice tip! It poured rain during the move but that didn't hinder their progress. Extremely friendly and professional 11/9/2008

My roommate and I needed inexpensive movers, and after reading the horror stories of those who used other moving companies, we went with A-Plus Moving. They were right on time, extremely friendly and clean! They charged us a very reasonable rate per hour. They took the door off the hinges at the old and new apartments, as well as took the feet off our couch and armchair to get them through the doors. The total price was under the estimate they gave us to move a 2 BR 2 bath, which is fantastic. They don't have hidden fees and they even had blankets they put over our furniture (most companies make you rent furniture pads). I will always use them. Pros: Great Movers, On time Arrival. more

Exceptional Movers! 11/1/2008

I used A-Plus Moving & Storage for my move from Cambridge as well as my office move locally here in Boston. CJ was exceptional in leading his team, who assisted his crew, while moving my stuff effortlessly. Not only were my moves done efficiently, but they also prepped all of my items and saved me time and headaches from doing it myself. I want to give them the highest rating possible and dearly hope your management staff pays them what they are really worth, which is to say the top dollar for their category of labor. It takes more than strength to accomplish what they do, it takes cooperation, patience, and intelligence to work through sudden problems. Your crew director, Mike was exceptional and very helpful. Exceptional And Very Helpful 10/13/2008

I just wanted to let you know how fantastic the crew you sent to move me was. CJ and his crew did a terrific job moving me at high speed without breaking anything. I had some difficult pieces including a giant couch that barely fit inside the apartment, glass doors that were too tall for a mirror box, and two large but very delicate dollhouses. They got the job done with professionalism and a great attitude. At the end CJ went through the house with me to make sure everything was perfect and happily adjusted some furniture for me. Great movers, great value! 9/13/2008

We just used A-Plus and had a great experience. Because our closing dates didn't align, we had a double move -- once for our things to be moved out and into storage, and then out of storage and into our new house -- so we needed good movers, but at a reasonable price, since we were basically paying double what we would have otherwise. A-Plus was very reasonable and they got great reviews, so we went with them (over Roadrunner and Gentle Giant, because the cost difference was huge). We were thrilled. They didn't have storage space, but directed us to finding our own closer by and saving money, which we did. They didn't send email confirmation, which made us a little nervous, but I called to confirm and we were right on schedule. The movers were great, really friendly and professional, and they hustled. We would definitely use them again, and recommend them very highly. If you want good movers at a reasonable cost, A-Plus is the company to go with. Pros: great movers, great price more

Thanks for the job that A Plus Moving did for us, and especially the dispatch department's careful attention. From start to finish, our move was a total success and easily set us up for a great start in our new home. We had what must have been a very complicated move, because we repeatedly needed to change our moving date. Trust the A-Plus Moving. I had a recent moving experience with A-Plus. They were totally pro. Got the job done, efficiently, correctly and worked very hard for us. I was concerned about the move because we were moving from a high rise building with limited availability to the elevator. Your company completed the move out within the specified period of time for the elevator and had us in our new apartment in record time. We had a very large move which took all day with two trucks. These men were very professional and so polite. They made our day stress free. We did not have any damages at all.
