AP-T Camera Repair

I've taken many cameras to them over the years. They are an authorized Nikon repair facility. Nikon would not allow them to repair their warranty cameras unless they were confident in their knowledge, abilities and honest business practices. I trust them to give me an honest estimate of the work and don't mind if things happen that increase the cost due to unknown circumstances. Today's digital cameras are complicated and problems are not always due to one thing. They checked out a focusing problem on my Nikon D7000, they repaired a lens mount after I dropped it, and now have helped me send another camera to the Nikon repair store in California because they hadn't yet been certified to work on that model. I trust them. I recommend them. more

Terrible customer service! Stay away!!! Dropped off camera for minor repair, after waiting over a month went to pick up camera and refund, store clerk had difficulty locating camera then did not have $28.89 available to issue the refund. Instead of treating this customer as valued, we were treated as if we had inconvenienced them! more

I truly do love this repair shop because of their honesty and fairness. They are always willing to diagnose a problem on the spot and so you leave with at least a hint of what's going on. On the flip side, they seemed to be understaffed because the turn-around time is not up to par as their awesome customer service. I find them to be knowledgable, friendly, and a good asset for photographers in the Albuquerque area. Will do business there again. more

After my digital camera broke, I brought it here. This is one of the few places I know that doesn't charge to look and see what is wrong with the camera. After looking at it, the technician was very honest with me, saying that there could be a number of things wrong with it. She said my best bet would probably be to go ahead and purchase a new camera, since Walmart and Target would proabably have one at a price that would be cheaper than repairing my broken one. I was extremely impressed that this company was honest with me when they could've easily kept their mouths shut and charged me to have repairs. more
