Classic bowling alley 12/28/2005

Cerritos Lanes is a place of family fun. It is the only bowling alley in the city of Cerritos. They have great food, arcade, and music to go along with plenty of bowling lanes. If you come here on a Friday or Saturday night, you will not get a chance to bowl. I would make a reservation on these days. Bowling prices are very affordable at all times. more

Cerritos Lanes 9/25/2005

Cerritos Lanes is a good place to bowl. The people who work there are friendly and organized. There are a number of groups that form several times a year for kids and beginners to the more experienced players. Cerritos Lanes has a snack bar and a pro shop, and more important, a family atmosphere. This place can get busy, especially on the weekends and Saturday mornings. After a while, you sort of get used to the smell of sweaty socks. Parking should be no problem. What would make it perfect is a good pizza place in the same shopping center. more

Worst Bowling Alley around 9/6/2005

AMF Cerritos is probably the worst bowling alleys in Cerritos- unfortunately it's one of the few around. The prices are extravagantly high, and the lanes are few. From the measly little arcade you see right when you enter, the entire place looks like a dump. The only reason to come is if you have coupons and a big group of friends. Even so, the lanes are usually all occupied. AMF is the biggest ripoff in town- don't even bother stopping by. more

Bowling anyone 8/20/2005

AMF Bowling in Cerritos charge $2.50 per game and the shoe rental is $4.50 per adult. I would say this is a bit pricey, but there arent any other bowling places around. The service is mediocore at best. At times the managers would overcharge and unless you caught them, they would continue charging you more than what they have posted on the wall. The lanes arent all that great, most of them have been worn or have dents in them. Im not sure if they polish the balls or not, but they dont look smooth at all. I advise you to come in with your own ball and shoes. more
