I'm not one to grow old gracefully - I'm gonna fight it all the way! Genetics has given me and my sister fine, limp hair. Over a year ago she decided to get hair extensions in El Paso where she lives. When I went up there for a visit I really liked the transformation so I decided to find an extension artist in the Austin area. I actually found Bree through an internet search along with other extension artists in the area. I'm not really sure why I decided to call Bree for a consultation but it had to be divine intervention! I was pleasantly surprised with the cost and with the method of application. My sister's extensions are applied with glue and heat and I worried about such a harsh method for my already fine hair. Bree's metod is so much healthier and the upkeep is great. My sister has to have her extensions removed every time her hair grows a certain length and reapplied. And the cost is astronomical - I wouldn't be able to afford her cost. I just go in for a ""move-up"". I wasn't sure if I were going to be able to continue to afford my extensions but here I am 15 months later and I can't imagine not having them. It's amazing what a great head of hair will do. Whenever I talk about cutting my hair short my boys always say, ""Mom you can't cut your hair - you look great with long hair"". I met Bree when I was going through a very trying time, if it could be a stressor in life, it was happening to me. My Mom, and lifetime friend, fell into a comma during mid January, and by February 6th she had passed. Meeting Bree helped me get back on my feet personally, as all of the stress I had been enduring took a toll on my body, namely my hair. For a male losing their hair seems like the natural progression of things, however; for a female it can be very devastating. I had always had thin hair, but now I actually was feeling the extent of the loss and had been withdrawing from friends and family because of it. Bree met with my husband and I before she actually applied the extensions to make certain that we understood what the process involved, how much it would cost, and what to expect as far as up-keep went. Bree went out of her way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, and continues to do so today. Not only have I found a wonderful hairdresser, but have made a friend as well. I know that Bree has made a huge difference in my life, and she can help in your transformation as well. I have encountered many hair stylists over the course of my life, but Bree knows how to work with her customers, and she really listens to what it is YOU want. I've never actually used Bree for hair cuts or extensions yet, however, I will be going to her for my next hair cut! I've know Bree for a while now, and I know that she will be a great hair stylist. I have the hair of my dreams now thanks to Bree. I've always wanted that thick long healthy looking hair that I see so often on models and actors. I would try to grow my hair out for years and no matter what I did it was still thin and wispy and wouldn't get much longer than the middle of my back. I tried expensive shampoos and conditioners, special hair vitamins, new diets, etc. No matter what I did my hair was not going to look like I wanted. All my life I dreamed of having long hair and now I finally have it thanks to Bree! Unfortunately I am one of the lucky ladies that has very fine hair which keeps it from growing long..but then I found my ""extension artist"" and now all that is changed. I get compliments daily on my hair whether it is straight, curly or up and the best part is that it looks so natural! My daily routine is even easier than before and does not require any kind of special upkeep. The hair is great and Bree is even better with her great personality and very upfront honesty-I am so glad I found her and plan on keeping my extensions as long as Bree will do them for me and she also does my highlights to match perfect!
