I called these guys for data recovery, and went with them because over the phone, the tech seemed to know a lot. In the end they were able to retrieve my music. I just want to comment that I thought the service from this business was great. I had a laptop that giving me trouble for a while and called this business. They took a lot of time with me explaining the problem and going through all the different options I had as far a whether I would be better off buying a new computer instead of getting it repaired. I felt they were very honest with me. The tech eventually found out that the manufacturer had extended the warranty for my computer and that I could take it to them and get it repaired for free. I liked the honesty they showed. They could have charged me for a repair, but instead found a way for me to get it repaired for free. more

I made an appointment with AEV Mobile Computer Repair for 9:30AM. The tech knocked on the door exactly at 9:30AM. That scored points with me. I like it when people are on time. My laptop computer had a virus and I needed a virus removal from them. I had a lot of questions for the tech. I know nothing about computers and had a lot of questions. The tech answered all of them. I thought maybe I was asked too many questions and taking up his time, but the tech was patient. That scored points with me again. I don't surf the net a lot so I was surprised I'd ever need a virus removal. I've dealt with a few other computer repair businesses here in San Diego and I definitely like AEV Mobile Computer Repair the best. I talk a lot and the tech was so patient and that reflects to me a lot on how they do business. They treat customers well and that made me trust them They also do great work. My virus was removed with no data loss. They gave me free anti virus software and tips on how to never have it happen again. I'll use them again if I need to. more

They seemed to be able to do what others couldn't when it came to data recovery from a re installation of an operating system. A previous tech had to reinstall my OS when he did a virus removal. I thought all my data had been erased. I called AEV Mobile Computer Repair to fix a problem with my internet connection and mentioned my problem. The tech said it may be possible to recover the data since the reinstall was recent. I gave the tech my computer and he came back with all my recovered data. I couldn't believe it. They made a loyal customer in me. My data was priceless since there were a lot of family pictures. I encourage other people in the San Diego area to call them for not only data recovery but any other computer problems. more
