I have had ADT monitored through MHB Security since I purchased my home 7 years ago. It was professionally installed by MHB security ""ADT largest dealership"" Well yesterday it all paid off. My house was broken into around 4:30 in the afternoon, the alarm went off, ADT called the house phone and also called me on my cell phone. They dispatched my local Toronto police. Nowadays, you can never be sure about home security. Having a home security system installed in my home is a good investment to protect my property and loved ones. ADT offered great packages that suit my budget. I am very satisfied with their product. I just had a problem when I called their company for inquiry. Their outstanding customer service + fair & honest pricing: They answer quickly, they don't try to push unnecessary product, and they are transparent in ALL their pricing, from contracts to sensors.They have variable length contracts from 1 to 3 years (for most alarm companies, shortest is 3 years), AND, you own the equipment after the contract period (which is relatively insignificant anyway as far as price of an overall average system). more

Not good business sense and horrible arrogant customer serv 11/1/2010

I am leaving ADT because they have cost in false alarms fees for the last time. The alarm went off I turned it off...but the police were still called...I called and asked them to turn back the police. They asked me for my code - I couldn't remember exactly and gave them my code - I knew it was either code100, 101, 102 etc...it had been 7 years...anyhow I gave them the right code. they then asked for the code AGAIN...I went through the same exercise and they said that wasn't good enough. THEY WOULD NOT CALL OFF THE POLICE. I end up with a 100 dollar fine and they will not reimburse me. Therefore they will lose the future stream of income ~500 dollars per year for the next 20-30 years. Not good business sense and horrible arrogant customer service. more

Easy to Use 10/28/2010

I was able to get the system installed next day which was very important to me. The installer got the system in my townhouse pretty quickly and gave me a tutorial on the keypad. Keypad is easy to use. more
