ADT Security System is not a bad system, just keep up with the problems, always keep track of any system troubles and zones that cause false alarms so that when you call the company to fix it you can tell them exactly what’s going on. more

I don’t think that ADT home alarm systems should be Included in this list at all. They are more of a marketing company than Home security provider. I installed ADT home monitoring system after falling for the promises made by their representatives . They were really quick on Installation the device but after that came the real problems. more

I have had ADT monitored through MHB Security since I purchased my home 7 years ago. It was professionally installed by MHB security ""ADT largest dealership"" Well yesterday it all paid off. My house was broken into around 4:30 in the afternoon, the alarm went off, ADT called the house phone and also called me on my cell phone. They dispatched my local Toronto police. I was an adt customer for 17 yrs. I paid my monthly service plus a $6.00 service fee. My system required service three times in seventeen years. The last time I was told that the equipment was out dated and could not be serviced. The equipment would have to be replaced at a cost of over $300.00. Because I was an adt customer I did not qualify for any promotions or discounts. This is company policy. In seventeen years I paid them $1,224.00 in service fees and $8,000.00 in monitoring fees for a total of $9,180. I guess new customers are more important then old ones. I have changed to Brinks Home Security. New and better equipment and a better monthly rate. Free instalation and a $10.00 a month savings over adt. Please look hard at adt before signing a contract. more

I've had ADT for about 4 years. Never had any issues . . . even with Comcast Digital Voice. And yes, it's been tested! more
