I did a lot of research before going for ADT security services. Their security cameras are quite impressive with all the features and stuff. Cool. Try to visit their website and see the features yourself. more

After watching the news about all the different mom and pop alarm company's in town here the obvious choice for me was ADT. Alot of these alarm company's didn't even have a license to sell alarms. That was disturbing. Also alot of them are using out dated equipment. ADT has been doing this for over 130 years so I think they know what they are doing by now. If you look at the type of equipment compared to all the other alarm companys it's apple and oranges. ADT's service techs are 24hrs which really helps when I need someone on a Sunday, I would never get that from another alarm company. They also monitor over 200 airports, many goverment institutes including the Federal Marshals and has recently made a deal with ALL federal judges (most judges make good decisions that's what they get paid for). I don't work for ADT, I just do alot of research and not look at a few bad instances in which some are waaaay out there. I have been a customer for over 10 years and when it comes to protecting my family I only want the best and nothing more, they are #1 for a reason. more

Where do i start with ADT? I have been paying monthly direct debits for full monitoring and maintainence cover of ?21.95 for the last year and a half and i have still not had the system connected to the phone line yet. I have also given up trying to get my money back from them as i've been paying for a service that i'm not recieving because, well they just ignored me. But the final straw was this morning when i called about having the batteries changed on my alarm key pad. more

It has been a month since the installation. The installer who came and put up the ADT alarms was quite convincing. He was talking and teaching us about our system. Great guy. Anyway, about the system. It is performing well. And no false alarms experienced. more

Having a home security system is a must when it comes to owning a house. I am living alone, no kids, no husband, nothing. The reason why I called up ADT Security was because my friend told me that this company is good. So, I called them up. Yesterday, my system was installed successfully and no problems so far. I like the remote keychain. I hope it doesn't get lost. :) more

They are out to make money not help you feel safe. 11/4/2010

I am so disgusted with ADT right now, if I would have been notified that they merged with Brinks/Broadview I would have found a new company earlier. This morning our alarm starts beeping at 5 am saying that we have a communication problem. They will send someone out on Thursday, excuse me no I want this fixed now. So now they tell us switching phone providers has caused this problem, we switched 6 months ago and we are just getting notified now that it is not working, so apparently it has not been communicating with them for 6 months and I have been paying. I asked that they tell me when the last time I activated my system? They could not tell me that, only the last time it went off. Okay so if you are monitoring my home, why would you not call and tell me that the system is not communicating. Been a customer for 13 years and I now do not feel safe in my home because they are not monitoring it the way it needs to be monitored. Thank god I put my own camera systems in and not their camera system. I just wasted $240 on something that was not working, and now they want to bill me $90 to come out and fix this. Company is a bunch of crap. They are out to make money not help you feel safe. more
