I had an hard time trying to find computer training in Los Angeles, I have looked around and a lot of the schools offer very generic training and they are definitely overpriced.

Starting Work on Monday, Thanks to ABCO 10/30/2011

I started my Website Design and Database Design classes at ABCO beginning of this year around Feb 2011. Not only did I successfully graduate both of my classes and have a few website projects completed to show my progress, but thanks to ABCO's Job Placement Assistance I am going to start my first day at my new Job as a Web Developer. I had lost hope and my spirits were down as I had been out of work for almost 2 years now, but my instructors at ABCO believed in me and motivated me and helped and guided me through selecting my career path and guided me through all the steps towards graduating and finding my new job. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all my instructors at ABCO who are excellent and professional trainers that went out of their way to coach and guide me and be patient with me when I took my time in learning. Great School!! 10/4/2011

I would just like to praise the instructors and teachers at abco technology, for all of there hard work, and genuine care of their students. Like most people i have been trying to find some how to make some extra money on the side, and everywhere i went i would hear website, this website that... I really pursued the thought when one of my girl friends started telling me how here niece had been developing websites for small companies around here area and that she started doing it full time. That really got my attention and so i looked online for a computer training school. To be honest i didn't know what i was looking for, but in a google search i abco technology came up and i gave them a call. I told them what i wanted to get into.. and they set up a meeting with me and gave me a clear cut path to get to my goals. They worked with my work schedule and everything, so thanx abco technology keep up the good work. more

Computer training school 10/4/2011

This school, is just great what can i say. I walked in with minimal knowledge about computer systems and i left with this deep understanding on how to create a website from scratch. I took the CIW course abbreviation for Certified Internet Webmaster they introduced me to html, php, as well as javascript. They also taught me some of the industry leading software which includes dreamweaver, photoshop and flash. I really want to thank the instructors that went out of there way to give me that extra attention to make sure that i got the understanding that i needed to feel confidient. more

Best Computer Technology school in Los Angeles 3/8/2011

Because this is 2011 and the beginning of it why not consider going into the field of computer technology. Computer based information technology has such a large array of jobs and positions which have seen an incline of almost 40% considering a troubled economy! Thats right why not Abco Technology Inc. This school offers the students not only the best teachers of whom by no coincidence have highly accredited degrees, but also top notch learning methods so you can get your certification and a great job in under a year. I can remember the first time I was introduced to this course in Certified Website Development and I should Have made the decision to go a year a go. ABCO Technology training and staff is excellent 3/6/2011

I am always writing and commenting on the service I get from people. Used to be heavy on orkut , and now its yelp and facebook. ABCO Technology is an excellent school and I got there after I was laid off from my job, and I had 9 months to find another job or leave the country. It was a tough time for me and my family because it's not easy moving around. more

Thank you Abco for helping me from start to finish 3/5/2011

I just completed my MCITP course from ABCO, I have to say that right from begining from when I met Steven my representative , who went out of his way to help me get funded through the worksource center and really spend his time and efforts in talking to various worksource centers until he finally found one who would fund the training for me. I had almost given up on the hope of getting funded and starting classes but Steven kept on pushing and guiding me through. When I started the training I was excited and bit scared at the same time as I was a begginer and did not have any previous training or experience with computers. My instructor Ralph guided me step by step through the classes and even spend extra time staying after class helping me clear my doubts and he called me in for additional lab time and gave me projects which made me confident in working on servers and computers. Now as I have graduated I'm working with Fatima who is helping me in finding a Job and I already have two really good prospects and have been to 2 interviews and have a job offer with a company which I will accept. more

Excellent Computer Training 2/2/2010

I took a CIW program at ABCO Technology and I must say that I really enjoyed. I got more interested into the program after enrolling there because of the great instruction. I would recommend it to every one. Today I'm managing three web sites on my own and I want to really thank Arif Sayed and Fatima for their support in my training. They really came through for me. ABCO Technology is really and excellent training center in los angeles near the Howard Hughes Parkway. I also found out that their CIW program covers the certifications and several practical courses that I didn't find anywhere else. It's a complete training package. Small School but Good Qualified Staff 11/7/2009

There are lots of college grads that can't find work right now and I suppose they could blame their school as well. There are lots of people who didn't make it through school and I guess it could be the school's fault. But seriously - what is the difference between the people who graduate and have great jobs and the people who don't, you will be able to figure it out pretty quickly. There are no schools for these people ewho tend to overlook their own shortcomings and blame the school that will help them, unless they take responsibility themselves. A degree from Harvard isn't going to go out and get a job for you. You have to get up and do it yourself. Pros: Best Staff,small classes with flexible timings more

Excellent place for learning 11/5/2009

I did go through the training at ABCO. With it, I was able to get a really good job. Now here is what I did learn when going into the market. People want a college degree. I lucked out because I already had a BA on top of my training. If you are looking to go the route of certification, then go to this school.What I was able to learn from the school was how to work with all the different aspects of windows security, especially since they taught it in a actual lab set up within the classroom, so you not only learn from the book, but also experience the real world scenarios.That's my two cents on it. ABCO is good school 11/4/2009

I don't know, it's hard for me to take the word of people who quit in 3 months and then say the school is no good. It's pretty clear that self study, motivation, and application are necessary to get the most out of an accelerated course. If you can't do that, then you can only blame yourself. Of course you will start with entry level jobs (unless you already have years of experience). If you come out of a regular 4-year college they don't hand you a VP job - heck, they don't even help you find a job period. At least ABCO offers assistance in that area. My advice is, do your own research. Don't listen to those who apply themselves other than to their own education. Go to the school and ask hard questions, talk to current students who are actually IN class applying themselves, and then make your decision. The school is a recognized institution. Good place for learning. 11/3/2009

My fianc?e and I are both enrolled in this class. No school can say 100% that you are going to get a job it?s unrealistic. i don?t feel worried about being ripped off and this school in willow brook has no reports against it in the BBB thing because I looked it up. Good Staff with well build Stuff 10/30/2009

As a teacher in a small high school, budget cuts have been hard on students. I applied for a grant and received federal funds to teach students how to build web pages. The problem was I didn?t know how to do it myself. ABCO technology was located five miles west of our campus. The instruction was excellent, classes were small, the teacher spent time with each student, and we built four web pages before graduation. I didn?t attempt the exam because my purpose was to teach the subject. Our classes began and they were a success. ABCO is a great school. 10/30/2009

ABCO is a great school. I am writing this review because a guy in my class refuse to learn. When he failed his MCSE 70-290 exam, he began posting negative comments about the school. My MCSE course was excellent, our instructors Arif, Ralph, and Fred were always ready to teach. They new there subject and answered all of our questions. When test time approached we received excellent exam prep material. Everyone in the class passed except our missing class member. Now he is writing garbage on rip off report, rateitall, and face book. It is very sad when one person can tarnish the reputation of a great place like ABCO Technology Pros: Good place to learn more

Well Qualified Instructors 10/28/2009

I spent over 15 years working with databases. The certification was the last possible thing on my mind. After getting laid off in September of 2008, things changed. Employers kept thanking me for coming in and those damned rejection notices kept coming. Ok, better rethink certification. The MCITP SQL 2005 was something, which was familiar. ABCO had classes on the weekends. I enrolled in February of 2009 and graduated in June of the same year. Classes were small, each student received individual instruction, and our instructor worked for the Santa Monica Unified School district. There were many sessions, which I knew what the instructor was going to say. The important thing was that we learned to pass the tests. Now that I think about it, a few new trade secrets were learned. Classes started on time and all of us got our questions answered. ABCO got me through the material and that is what I wanted. Excellent place to learn 10/25/2009

ABCO taught me how to use Microsoft Excel. For years I?ve been trying to learn this program. Everything I did never worked out. I admit directions are hard for me. Fatima Sethi spent time teaching me how to use all of the functions. We had one-to-one classes, which I found very good. The equipment broke down a couple of times, but we got it fixed.
