ABCO Technology, what a great school!! Wow i can't believe how much i learned in so little time. I am so use to the standard method of getting an education through the college system. Tons and tons of information but nothing you can really use. The jack of all trades method but the master of none. Coming out of this school i learned the foundation on how to create web pages. I am now proficient in html and css, novice in php programming and database construction and maintenance. I have actually created a few websites will attending this school from few referrals from friends with small businesses. I cant believe how quickly i started making money in this business. Its funny but i never realized just like all businesses have a door to secure there property they need a website to be taken serious. And with Search engine optimization as a method to advertise there business online for a fraction of the price as traditional advertising this business is booming. Thank you ABCO for your taking interest in my success. more

Best Computer Training in LA 12/1/2011

Good: I loved everything about this school, there instructors the classrooms by that i mean the size of them. The student teacher ration is like 1 to 6. I took the CIW or certified internet webmaster course and i was very pleased with the instruction that i got. I was a novice actually worse i was a total newbie when i first walked in the front door of this school. Six months later i am walking out a well versed novice. I highly recommend this school to anyone serious about getting into the IT field.. Bad: The fact they don't have FAFSA option to pay for classes. They said they are not at liberty to say but this option is being considered.. Improvements: I hope for them to have more locations like this in the Los Angeles Area. That would be great because there are a lot of people that can get a lot out of taking instruction from this school. I have talked to many people who graduated from this school and are now making good money. It is incredible at first i didn't believe that you can make so much money just by obtaining a few certifications but when i talked to some people who actually worked in the field i caught there interest.. Other: If you want to get into the information technology field, do your self a favor and give ABCO Technology a call, you will not regret it i know i don't. To your success, and the courage to take the first step on your journey.. more

This school is just awesome, let me guide you through my experience. I got laid off of work, like many others in this crazy economy. I always wanted to get into web development, only problem was that i did not know what course of action to take. I googled computer training, ABCO Technology was one of the first results listed. I called set up an appointment and was guided through on which courses i should take. This school also has a team of web developers. This reassured me that this was the right school for me, because i believe in practice what you preach. They knew all the industry standards, introduction to Search Engine Optimization, and programming languages such as PhP, Html, Javascript, and query languages. If you are in the dark about web development ABCO Technology is the light. I highly recommend the CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) courses, which includes a course with the instruction on how to develop websites using the programming languages mentioned above. more

Good: Class was great! student body was good all acers in the class. book by Mark Mcgrath, In Easy Steps is awsome. very colorful match for learning curve.. Bad: I liked the method of teaching class. the book was again very concise and the class went into 3 day overtime due to the content and depth of book examples and exercises.. Improvements: well, nothing really, its a great school the only thing is to have more quick computer stations, but other than that I feel the teachers could teach the courses on a handstand without computers....(they are that good). Other: faculty is great.. they are mostly well organized.. more

Just started going to school there a few weeks ago and I can tell you all now that the way teaching is performed at this certification school really sinks in on a person and person to student to student level that anyone can relate too. This only being possible by the minds of these great teachers who will, in fact, start off individually with every student and within a very short amount of time can structure your mode of thinking to almost helplessly bring the answers to the material at hand. The material covered also is top quality learning material. With the best of the best there is no reason why anyone cant learn how Abco Technology has gained their awsome reputation. more

I am always writing and commenting on the service I get from people. Used to be heavy on orkut when I was in India, and now its yelp and facebook. ABCO Technology is an excellent school and I got there after I was laid off from my job, and I had 9 months to find another job or leave the country. It was a tough time for me and my family because it's not easy moving around. ABCO Technology helped me map out a plan of study. I signed up for the oracle and Project Mangement program. ABCO Technology Training was excellent. Above all the instructors were very knowledgeable and the hands-on was very helpful. However, what helped me the most is the help that they give to every student after the class. I urge to all to go visit the school and go there and let them map out a program for you. Excellent job at ABCO. more

ABCO Technology is a great school. I enrolled for the CCNA class, and I must say that Fathima Sethi really helped me with my preparations, in addition to the instructor's help that I got in class. I loved the labs that they have. It's an amazing lab with all the current routers good enough for CCIE, but I only took the CCNA Class. Currently, I'm preparing for the exam and even after my class is over, Fathima Sethi is helping me in preparing the right way. Overall, I think if your looking for some good computer training in Los Angeles, go to ABCO. They're really good and recently they received an award as well. THanks ABCO and thanks Fathima. more

I took a CIW program at ABCO Technology and I must say that I really enjoyed. I got more interested into the program after enrolling there because of the great instruction. I would recommend it to every one. Today I'm managing three web sites on my own and I want to really thank Arif Sayed and Fatima for their support in my training. They really came through for me. ABCO Technology is really and excellent training center in los angeles near the Howard Hughes Parkway. I also found out that their CIW program covers the certifications and several practical courses that I didn't find anywhere else. It's a complete training package. There are lots of college grads that can't find work right now and I suppose they could blame their school as well. There are lots of people who didn't make it through school and I guess it could be the school's fault. But seriously - what is the difference between the people who graduate and have great jobs and the people who don't, you will be able to figure it out pretty quickly. There are no schools for these people who tend to overlook their own shortcomings and blame the school that will help them, unless they take responsibility themselves. A degree from Harvard isn't going to go out and get a job for you. You have to get up and do it yourself. more

I did go through the training at ABCO. With it, I was able to get a really good job. Now here is what I did learn when going into the market. People want a college degree. I lucked out because I already had a BA on top of my training. If you are looking to go the route of certification, then go to this school.What I was able to learn from the school was how to work with all the different aspects of windows security, especially since they taught it in a actual lab set up within the classroom, so you not only learn from the book, but also experience the real world scenarios.That's my two cents on it. more

I don't know, it's hard for me to take the word of people who quit in 3 months and then say the school is no good. It's pretty clear that self study, motivation, and application are necessary to get the most out of an accelerated course. If you can't do that, then you can only blame yourself. Of course you will start with entry level jobs (unless you already have years of experience). If you come out of a regular 4-year college they don't hand you a VP job - heck, they don't even help you find a job period. At least ABCO offers assistance in that area. My advice is, do your own research. Don't listen to those who apply themselves other than to their own education. Go to the school and ask hard questions, talk to current students who are actually IN class applying themselves, and then make your decision. The school is a recognized institution. That really doesn't come easy. more

My fiancée and I are both enrolled in this class. No school can say 100% that you are going to get a job it’s unrealistic. i don’t feel worried about being ripped off and this school in willow brook has no reports against it in the BBB thing because I looked it up. I feel the money I spent is worth it. more

I only went to ABCO Technology for one day to learn how to make XML sitemaps. The books I’ve been reading say XML sitemaps are excellent for alerting Google and Bing to webpage changes. Fatima knew XML. She spent over 2 hours teaching me how to use XML and upload it to a server. I am grateful for her instruction. If you have a website and want to learn how to work a program for it, ABCO Technology is a good school to attend. more

ABCO is a great school. I am writing this review because a guy in my class refuse to learn. When he failed his MCSE 70-290 exam, he began posting negative comments about the school. My MCSE course was excellent, our instructors Arif, Ralph, and Fred were always ready to teach. They new there subject and answered all of our questions. When test time approached we received excellent exam prep material. Everyone in the class passed except our missing class member. Now he is writing garbage on rip off report, rateitall, and face book. It is very sad when one person can tarnish the reputation of a great place like ABCO Technology. more

Classes were small, each student received individual instruction, and our instructor worked for the Santa Monica Unified School district. There were many sessions, which I knew what the instructor was going to say. The important thing was that we learned to pass the tests. Now that I think about it, a few new trade secrets were learned. Classes started on time and all of us got our questions answered. ABCO got me through the material and that is what I wanted. more

ABCO Technology is Excellent Place to learn Excel 10/28/2009

ABCO taught me how to use Microsoft Excel. For years I’ve been trying to learn this program. Everything I did never worked out. I admit directions are hard for me. Fatima Sethi spent time teaching me how to use all of the functions. We had one-to-one classes, which I found very good. The equipment broke down a couple of times, but we got it fixed. Excel is no longer a problem. As far as schools go ABCO is ok. more

Flash at lightning speed at ABCO technology 10/26/2009

Flash can be tricky. I have spent over two months trying to get Flash to work properly. Finally it became clear my skills needed improvement. ABCO Technology was offering a 30 hour course covering Flash levels 1 and 2. It sounded great. The course was very good. Our instructor had created over 50 sites using Flash. We learned how to overcome challenges. My site is well on the way now. ABCO Technology’s instruction was excellent more

In this bad economy I have been noticing job openings for Cisco certified network people. ABCO Technology had a six-week CCNA course. The great news was it was held during the weekends. After going to the campus, auditing a class, and asking a lot of questions, my name went on the dotted form. The course was excellent. At first the fact they had older equipment bothered me. The teaching was excellent. Those old routers had the information needed to pass the most recent CCNA exam. For the first time I passed a test on the first attempt. I owe this success to the excellent instruction of Arif and Fatima. I plan to get my CCNP at ABCO Technology in the future. more

Best	Abco is the right place if you wanna get IT traininng in LA I had an hard time trying to find computer training in Los Angeles, I have looked around and a lot of the schools offer very generic training and they are definitely overpriced.
