ABC Tow of Lees Summit

Horrible service. ABC was dispatched through the Volvo Roadside Assistance for a siimple tow of a disabled SUV. Driver showed up, said he had the wrong equipment, left without a word and never came back. I hope Volvo will blacklist them. more

To all Don't use Abc tow to two your car,truck,van etc whey will mess up your car and steal items from your car and don't want to do any thing about it and say his drivers don't do that so stay a way from ABC tow more

I'M NOT ONE TO GIVE 5*'s OFTEN! Clearly some people (below) dont understand rules/policy. I had the greasy old man with the pony tail tow my car today. I started by calling a very helpful disbatch to give me a spot on tow quote. It was $1.25 over what they estimated me at, and thats with me giving them rough locations. When I called I told them I would be there in 23 min., it took me 24min. and he was there waiting for me. Randy (the driver) 20+ years in towing, did an AWESOME job at hooking up my vehical. and was friendly to boot. He took it slow and was very cautious of my lowered vehicals rear bumper while hauling (something I was worried about). I will be keeping his card for future problems, and will recommend Randy and ABC tow to anyone who is in need. BTW their pricing was way cheaper than other tow companies. They quoted $55 next lowest was $61 and went up rapidly from there, many other companies have hidden costs as well, where as they did not. no fuel surcharges or dumb stuff like that. Again Very pleased and thank you Randy and ABC tow. more

I had a car towed to their lot on a Friday evening. I asked when could I come and get my things out of the car. They said we one at 8:00am Monday. No problem I'll just run by on my way to work. Monday morning comes and I drive over to ABC tow and its about 7:57am. A man turns on the lights and unlocks the front door. So I go ahead and walk in and tell him what I'm their for... he proceeds to tell me we aint open till 8:00am. I look at my watch and by that time it's 7:58. I say so I guess I'll go sit in my car for a couple of minutes.... he says yep. Give me a break! And the place was full of cigarette smoke from him sitting around smoking instead of helping me. more

They were fast, Brandon was a great driver and they were reasonably priced. Great company! more

First the owner of the lot you left your car in illegally had it towed, which is their right. Taking the car to the police first IS THE LAW and the Lees Summit lot is for police impounds only. Your car was not impounded by the police. Again I am sorry your upset but we were only following the law. Please feel free to call us and I will gladly discuss the situation with you. We prefer to help our customers if we can. more

A vehicle was towed from a private neighboring lot without proper notification to the owner. He put the vehicle on his flatbed truck and actually drove by the police station to get the police report and had the nerve to charge us for it. He told the owner of the vehicle when we learned he was towing the vehicle that he had had the paperwork for a week . If this is so, why didn't he already have the police report? According to what I have read from MO Law you have to get the owner advance waring that you are going to have the vehicle towed off. \r I talked to ABC tow at least 5 times and not once was I told that the vehicle was at the Blue Springs Office. The first excuse they gave us was that the LS lot was full. Not true! We were there and the lot was not full! The tow truck that we were using to have it towed back to our apartment was there and he said it was not true. \r The next excuse they gave was because it was towed from private property. Yes, it was towed from private property but it was a police tow and police tows stay in LS if the two is being towed in Lee's Summit. This is a very poor company and we will never recommend anyone to use their services. more

I am a manager for ABC and this is the only way we can appoligize to the customer from New Years Eve. Due to Weather and the Holiday we were at well over four times our normal volume. I apoligize that one of or employees was stessed and rude when you called. There is no real excuse I just hope the circumstances help explain.
